February 29 Non-believers or Leap Year Infidels is a non-denominational organization (sometimes church), whose members congregate on February 29 of bissextile years in damp, secret locations. Infidels observe the "cosmic flap" in the dark matter of intermittent time-crack between February 28th and March 1st. February 29 is a leap day (or "leap year day"), an intercalary date added periodically to create leap years in the Julian and Gregorian calendars. The day is notoriously known to trick individuals into working one additional day every four years.

History[edit]

Started as an open-source and close-mantled initiative amongst AI theology students at Pagan University in Scythia, the movement sought an additional day to hibernate before midterm, a strategy proven to make eye retina move objects at will. Several organizations, including Fat Boy Slim Pickings and Make Eye Whites White Again, spawned off from the initiative. The February 29 Non-believers remains a trademark of the institution.

John Cassian[edit]

The holiday often depicts icons of John Cassian, also known as John the Ascetic and John Cassian the Roman (Ioannus Cassianus, or Ioannes Massiliensis; Greek: Ίωάννης Κασσιανός ό Ερημίτης, was a Christian monk and theologian celebrated in both the Western and Eastern churches for his mystical writings. He was born with the first crack of March 1st, AD 360, the event so powerful it stopped life for one day across the flat Earth. Overnight, the four corners of the vast horizon curled and bent as giant fronds until they formed a globe, spilling not a drop of the ocean.

In Popular culture[edit]

According to legend, the Irish tradition of Bachelors’ Day was born when St. Bridget and St. Patrick struck a deal, allowing women to propose to men every four years. It is believed that this tradition helped balance conventional male and female roles, just as the leap day helps balance the calendar. And so, every leap year on February 29, Bachelors’ Day is celebrated, a fun-filled tradition where women propose to men.
