Whoops! Maybe you were looking for Bible?
A standard fanfiction writer, aka casual copyright-infringing fandom wank. Wait, how old are you kid? You're too young for that...

Fan fiction is a type of "writing style" that immediately makes you look like a loser at life. Despite it being a tempting idea to make one of your own, let's avoid it and call it a day instead. You're not going to succeed, and creating one just lowers your self-importance and turns you into a mindless drone of Fandom. If you get published for creative nonfiction and having a public domain fandom to work with, you might gain more respect than snagging characters that are not yours. It's that simple — it's stealing, you damned fantard, and trademark infringement.

Just quit it already. Work with a real word process and write creative nonfiction. There are things just too fucked up that you cannot make up. No, really; look up Not The Babylon Bee if you don't believe us. Invest in grabbing a free word processor somewhere and display your rejection letters from Liquid Imagination.

Watch your language with them too for the love of God, come up with something that you own. Show your rejection letters from places if you're going to do original material and don't be a dumbass to file off your serial numbers for a publisher if the fandom is not in public domain.

Sometimes there are some gems, but those on Archive of our Own picked up a bad habit of history whitewashing as they get money from Mark Coker of Smashwords.com. Some in public domain fandom get drafted, but they don't even want to hear about that.

Some of the stories that became source material for The Twilight Zone are in public domain, there are some aspects one needs to follow and careful not to produce a fucking doorstop of shit you just cannot sell. This is another case where this establishment agrees with Encyclopedia Dramatica and Wikipedia. There are questions to be raised when Coker is giving wads of cash to Organization For Transformative Works, and want to ask why.

History

It is rumored that the first fan fiction is the Bible. It is about a man's fantasies about the ultimate dictator of all, which can be considered a Mary-Sue of its own. However, many people view it as the ultimate savior, which led to the fanbase known as Christianity. The Book of Mormon deserves the title of Fan Fiction Religion because it was plagiarized from the King James Version.

A modern critic's review of the Bible.

Though many later people consider it a Sue-fic, it has still solidified a fanbase of a hundred billion. This can be proven by most Americans being Christians, or fantards defending the Bible fanbase.

Later fanfics appear in the Cold War era as television franchises such as Star Trek and Sonic the Hedgehog start to appear. These fanfics pursue the ideals of modern life, such as Forbidden Love Styles, and God-like Mary-Sues in a fail manner. Most fanfics since that time are considered a prime way to show your fantardness and teenage girl spirit, considering that most fan fiction is written by mindless teenage girl drones.

There are some who are written by twenty-something hungry publishers or breaking into the fold looking for the right connection, Twilight Zone and horror circles. Just go look up Ralan.com and look around. Public domain fandom will get recruited, but effectively pull this off. Being a good fan fiction writer, that's like being celebrated for being a karaoke singer. The Forever Knight and Twilight Zone fandom grew side by side with the original output on Tripod and Geocities, though have moments where it's freakier than fiction when those die in the fandom — for real and the Gothic Horror story on FictionPress.com gets free publicity.

Don't write slash fan fiction and shove it in our faces or do real person slash. That's being a dick. The real person slash is just vile especially when someone pulled this on a man's pen name and his son, "Because you know how you value family." And they ask what one's thoughts on the subject are — where's the vomit button on Facebook? If one is going to be that ass and write that sort of thing, don't slander one's family.

The Twilight Zone fandom has the debates which are inviting and playful of the story being original or fan fiction, then the oh shit when they see the one being original but borrows from the fandom with the delivery. See more on the approval from the family of Rod Serling.

In modern periods, fan fiction is most likely corrupted. The sheer number of 12-year old girls basing their fics on fantasies of illegal and impossible sexual fetishes and forbidden man-child love, and the fanboys who give poorly-organized criticism against fandoms that they consider as "poison", have made the fan fiction world a terrible place to contribute to, as well as giving an excellent place to troll with for 1337 hax0rs. As there are some who get drafted to become a chance at publish glory.

Victims

Almost all franchises are victimized by the crap-fest known as fan fiction. However, this section introduces the most seen fanfic prey for fantards to prey on. Watch at your own risk. Some circles calling them victim is not a fair analysis, scroll down and find the information useful.

Naruto

Naruto after seeing the awesomeness of his fandom. One bastard sneaked a novel and got a fucking ISBN for the thing on Lulu.com. Do the creators know about this? Well, they do now. Sorry, Naruto, but someone is raping your properties in the ass. The powers that be found out and allowed our own to report looking out for them.

This fandom is not as bad as Sonic's, but it's close to the silver lining. It is populated by all sorts of lowly internet scum, such as 16 year old Wapanese girls, Wapanese emos, 12 year old weeaboo boys, and Yaoi Fangirls which are as vicious as a swarm of killer bees. Naruto fanfics mainly rely on forbidden love practices and impossible sexual positions, as well as dark fics of all things Gaara. When one had read a Naruto fanfic. Well, it's a mutual to those scratching their heads; the feeling is like the mind of a World War II Japanese soldier possessing your brain in the form of a cancerous tumor with a huge spike protruding out of it.

Not good. The original characters made by the "fans" are also godlike like anything else in the fanfic world, tragic backstories run rampant and they tend to have 1337 superpowers which are not even called "Ninja Skills", in truth it's just a huge pile of shit that proves the author, canon or fanon, had never seen a ninja before.

You may want to wash your eyes with a properly written fanfic after watching one in order to cure your Wapanese cancer; too awful — there is none. Then you have those who get off on creating butt-babies. Don't even go there, kids; you don't even know how sick that is in real life.

Harry Potter

Harry Potter is known to create satanic orgies and moral panic among Independent Baptists as he's trying to pray to Zombie Jesus. Or try to summon Cthulhu. Or read The House of Pain subject matter if they had Internet access at Hogwarts...

Another prime target for Suethors, the sheer number of emos and goths who disguise themselves as die-hard Harry Potter fans, as well as the franchise's power to create satanic orgies, has corroded the fandom since its first episode. According to the magnificent author and normal person J.K. Rowling: "I had never seen my creations mutilated and raped in such a horrifying way. I better pwn them with my 1337 fantards." most of these fanfics are, like previously said, consisted of darkfics written by emos and goths that are about their original character pwning Voldemort with his/her 1337 powers while he is about to cook Harry for breakfast.

The fandom at large has a following in the small press and even a crackfic emerged called Harry Potter and the Eagle of Truthiness. This happens to be pretty popular with the fandom, but mention The Fandom Writer, an original short story that mauls the slash fan fiction fandom. The targeted fandom sees this as My Immortal but a stronger work where A. J. Poe was the voice of everyone who was disgusted by seeing it.

He sees them and sniffs fan fiction of established properties then parks The Fandom Writer in the reviews. Run for cover. WritersCafe.org the fandom shows up in droves. The story which comes to mind is Remus' Reason -- that's just one of them; and some of them if they applied themselves would see an anthology spot instead of concentrating on characters that don't belong to them. The fandom is everywhere, some well those who do the practice are sometimes sixteen or even 19 years old. But you have The Draco Trilogy and let's not even go there.

It's one source of the worst fanfics; My Immortal isn't called the worst fanfic ever without reason. Author David Wright admits to being a fan of J.K. Rowling but the roster jokes about having his novel cameo in a work of fanfiction. Fanfiction.net this is a megafandom, it rivals sister site's horror and science fiction section. Megafandoms will see unique traffic, J. K. Rowling was amused by fan fiction writers loving her characters, thought a bit too much.

Some of the climates of Harry Potter do lend well to Gothic Horror backdrops as it does borrow from Greek and Roman Mythology. An Eye In Shadows skewered Fandom Wank and a short story in the small press the high school of the author gets the joke "Hogward's School Of Tabloid And Investigative Journalists" because a photo was doctored to look like Harry Potter. The photo became an insult backfire. Once in awhile there will be a noteworthy piece showing up of no existing fandom but a character by a classmate with his notes. The Goth if well timed can really invite The Twilight Zone and H. P. Lovecraft elements into the attack. If they invoke The Cabbie Homicide as this reads like a non-racist H. P. Lovecraft with Anne Rule overseeing the process, one may never know they see Snape as Cthulhu.

Sonic

A standard Sonic fanfic character

The Sonic franchise has been torn apart by one of the worst fanbases available before the horrid cancer of the internet that is My Little Pony, and its powefanfics are no exception. Sonic fanfics mainly rely on "Original" characters with poorly made designs and god-like powers engaging in forbidden sexual practices with out of canon characters only thinkable by the most insane of gay furries. The worst thing is that most Sonic fanfics are created by the immature mind of a 12 year old pre-pubescent teenage girl, who still has no idea about true love practices. And most of them tend to be masturbating to Rouge and Amy Rose Rule 34 while writing the sheer terror of their "Shadow's half-Brother" having a threesome with Shadow himself and Sonic. I'm not going to say anything; see it for yourself.

Star Trek

Writing Star Trek fanfiction is a favourite pastime in early modern life, and the first few fanfics are quite good. But Star Trek is the source of all the wretched scum in the fan fiction world for one reason; it is the birthplace of the first Mary Sue, who is called... Mary Sue. She is a 15 year old lieutenant who is so 1337 that she eventually engages in man-child love with Captain Kirk. Even the creators are Suethors themselves; an example is Wesley Crusher, who is a kid who can save the whole ship by himself and possesses 1337 powers next to no one.

The later original characters are so crappy that they are nearly irredeemable, such as an Asian using a katana which can splice dimensions (the author has been pwnt). Overall the Star Trek fanbase has the worst Sues, but it is definitely not the worst fanbase.

Star Wars

Oh shit, don't even get us started. Another Hope, anyone? There's always someone doing these and sneaking the expanded universe, God help you if a small press circle finds these. Some fandoms have emerged side by side with those in the new weird, Star Trek fan fiction and Star Wars fan fiction have a whipping boy relationship with Twilight Zone and Outer Limits because the latter are publisher's fandom. These two fandoms get stuck in sci-fi ghetto when it comes to submitting out because the science fiction writers are fond of Space Opera.

The question how many Wookies does it take to create a single fan fiction, and sometimes they try to make songfics (don't ask.) A contributor who was part of an anthology in 2005 was caught producing Star Wars fan fiction and was asked if Lucasfilm or Disney, parent company found out about it. She was fuming over the battery of questions saying how she took a step backward in the evolutionary ladder though some of the roster had been playing with public domain fandoms at some point. She was caught dismissing the roster and was dropped from Facebook, Linkedin.com, and other properties. Sadly enough, someone had given these casual copyright infringements face time on Goodreads. The questions that were asked of her were about Christine Marie Morgan's casual copyright infringement addiction, and she was really fuming because she was published in print.

The fandom just doesn't know that some material they chose to pair this with just doesn't fit like the right plumbing. They will know it when you see it; the kind of fandom your family watches but don't even let them near a word processor but sometimes the fandom produces a published work. Few and far between, the dirty looks are there. George Lucas might be pissed when seeing them so don't let them leak on the web.

Pokemon

Pokemon fanfics are not the worst, but their fandomness is next to no one. Pokemon fanfics consist of several genres: darkfics, Suefics and masturbatory stuff. Darkfics are the ones written by emos and goths, which feature hot sexing between trainers and their tortured-in-the-past Gardevoir or Eevee while they remember their painful past, as well as a trainer attempting to escape from a painful past where Team Galactic had sex with their mom. Suefics usually consist of Ash-like shit, in which a trainer called Ash, Ashley or some other variant of "Ash" starts out their Pokemon adventure then proceeds to capture Arceus and defeat a Hitler-like evil overlord that wants to rule the world and kill all humans. Masturbatory stuff is the ones that people masturbate to, like Dawn/May/Gardevoir breast expansion that sickens non-fetishists, or simply the author's wet dreams, such as Brendan having sex with May, or the author getting swallowed by Reshiram. They can also be furry.

These three types of fanfics can be stacked with each other, or simply all three types in one. Seriously, calling a dark/Sue/mastubatory fic terrible is a sore understatement.

Reality

Reality-based material (Alt. History Framework, stop calling it reality fic but call it Matheson inspired,) is set in reality, such as in World War II. This is usually reason for an emo/goth in order to make himself more honest and revealing to others, not knowing they are naive for thinking Hitler will bring them to his bunker and bust a cap in his head or take a lead pipe and finally break his kneecaps. On rare occasions, fanfic writers will not self-insert, but instead write about time travel, a robot from a museum, or shapeshifting alien Abe Lincoln, or something; usually these are the only ones that do well, but the repackaged sci-fi cliche industry is a very niche market with stiff competition. Don't bring a pen to a word processor fight.

Most people draw the line at religion, rather than write about going back in time and showing up Jesus and telling him to go to med school if he wants to heal people, and to discover penicillin and the cure to small pox while he's at it, after he invents the electrical defibrillator. The small press circles see Richard Matheson as the one who played up real locations, real cities and real neighborhoods. Fanwriters who crossover into original material will lend well here if doing their homework.

The Goth becomes researched and they sell their work in small press magazines. In other words playing in this fandom, the darker the ideas come the better chances you will be drafted. Do your homework when playing in this one because this is a History Major's background. This is Data Geek's territory when he wrote The Artifact and plenty of controversy to go round if realistic. This really is a niche market and be prepared for token payment for your material, scraping serial numbers don't attempt it because small press publishers are good at sniffing out fan fiction, some see it done like it was selling nose candy. (On second thought, don't click that link.)

My Little Pony

My Little Pony in my fanfics, seriously? Don't laugh, though, as My Little Pony is the new trend and sign of 1337ness of the internet! It has the worst fanbase that has ever stormed the face of the internet, and if you think the fantards are 6-year old girls, think again!

They are were full-grown men with the minds of six-year old girls, and they have the minds of 6-year-old girls due to excessive bronification. It's just like six-year old girls writing fanfics: the result is a giant pony-shaped tumor that is the size of 2/3 of the Internet's. You WILL DEFINITELY NOT want to witness this horror yourself; any sane person who sees it becomes a brony or just outright dies, only to rise from the dead as a six-year-old retard.

Encyclopedia Dramatica pounces on them like nothing. God forbid if Fandom Wank is still around raping the fandoms too and making them perverse as in someone did a meatspin animation with this. There goes your innocence, kids, because when grown men are playing with the fandom you're giving a weird look. The creator of this series even finds them a tad creepy.

This is from a comic message board on the said fandom, "I see what you're all saying, I brought this thread up because I made a comment on a video saying that I thought it was pretty sad grown men watched a program which is basically meant for little girls, only to get about 20 replies from a lot of angry fans." In other words when one encounters these, my advice to you is DUCK.

Twilight

Don't let me get started on this already. Genre fiction circles get on this one, Stephen King even calls her a bitch -- though some small press circles are a bit more understanding of her. They feel for her because of the fantards pull to publish. They save the abuse for E. L. James and Beautiful Bastard. Even then Twilight gets bastardized by many in the small press, Stephenie Meyer gets some understanding and sympathetic from one of the members here but other than that, the rest of the site mock the fandom. So don't get some of them going especially when E. J. James is involved. The Harry Potter fandom trolled her.

“He has spent years leaving abusive horrible messages to me on every single platform that I am on.. And for the record, I don’t pull-to-publish my fanfiction nor write or read mpreg, but I respect the right of anyone who wants to do so. You do not get to tell me what I can do.”

~ A.M. Gray, on being confronted.

The question of her engaging in the practice becomes evident as she's known as the fictional wife of Nine Inch Nails guilty party. She found herself in the notorious short story from FictionPress.com as she was called a serial plagiarist. She has a short that's about the size of a cult story in print known as Ghosts in the Tornado that held its own with Edgar Allan Poe and H. P. Lovecraft. The question that this response saw she didn't like being confronted by Tornado Dodgers. The Gothic Horror story was published in England and used Zion, Illinois, as a stand-in for Plainfield, Illinois.

The Twilight Zone

Submitted for your approval. A subsidy publisher of many names in Bloomington, Indiana, saw a publication reach its desk traveling across the desert. A week's journey in the mail. Next stop. The Twilight Zone. Meet the author of My Heavenly Encounter with Mom, and her husband, minster who writes goth horror. Westbow Press is the recent resident of this location. The Subsidy Compound is in for a rude awakening. What would one rather see remain in circulation, someone from the furry fandom or The Twilight Zone? This, my friends, is a trip into that dimension. Welcome to the ashes of the racist born into the creation that's Post-American American.

The publisher's fandom. The timing is who you know to get you discovered in this fandom because they abuse originality. That's reason they're tapped or drafted by Nicholas Grabowsky or Twilight Times. Carol and Anne Serling watch this one closely, this is the fandom that has the original material sent out to Weird Tales, Tales of the Talisman, small press you name it as there's a genre named for Rod. This fandom is like a live grenade, and sometimes you see horror from friendly fire, so be careful who you make targets. The classmates when they realize they found out they were a Twilight Zone target, they end up fuming.

"Why is my full name in your writing?" the subject of an article known as The Infamy Raines as the vile scandal where it really was the Monsters Are Due On Maple Street.

Twilight Zone fandom and Night Gallery know H. P. Lovecraft's material and can invoke the horrors in the pages of the Necronomicon or engage in Richard Matheson's locality in real places. The dark growl is born here. Encyclopedia Dramatica and Fandom Wank get nervous when this fandom is born out of the bleak depths of post-Cold War climates of the 1950s-1960s, then the children of the Cold War saw the Rod Serling-less version. They proved they're no slouches either. This is the fandom to prove how good one is, the ones who really have something to say and it's the one Stephen King had been drafted for their magazine.

The fandom is born in reality-based material and line blurs between this then the deep rooted horrors beyond the comfort zones of Barnes and Noble when it comes to absolute horror. Especially when it comes from James Hetfield (where we're all disposable.) We're the shadows born all nightmare long. Humans are Cthulhu within the monsters born on maple street, call someone racist in Chicagoland and you have the creative nonfiction framework. We let our demons roam free and the dark fiction just comes natural, the Goth this is your real playground to voice the murdered — take aim at Encyclopedia Dramatica, gain access to Christian Nightmares, The Babylon Bee and Not The Babylon Bee. Become a news junky and unleash your nightmare fuel upon the world.

Many chances to give other fandoms the bird if played right; it's about how much you can get past the radar in this fandom. Social commentary is the norm and blur reality is an art form. The fandom is a lot of fun to play with, can be something born within the depth of your own nightmares. Between the black and white, somewhere the dark subject matter is grey between the skull. That will be your cerebral cortex, where nightmarish realization is born. This fandom messes with other fandoms in the same era. Rod Serling and his crew of collaborators take you into dimensions where dragons roam, not the fantasy creatures of Org's Odyssey but a place where the revolt of dragons go further. The Revolution with a capital R.

You can't go wrong if you research your material and perfect your darkness. This fandom leaves plenty of room for creepy. This fandom is written in Rod's attack, and in the style of the man. Submitted for our collective approval. The Philosophy or Psychology major this is the Devil's playground, there's spoofs that appeared in the 1980s such as The Daylight Zone. Plenty of angry young men and women to pull this off, analyze your material before submitting for The Rod Serling Foundation.

The big name fan of the franchise is the Left Behind series, as he admitted to be so and you have Fundies taking a ripe one on Rod Serling but that one turned out to be a child sex offender. Slandering someone who tried to voice a murder victim is wrong. Rod Serling is a murder victim advocate before the censors refused to allow him to write about Emmett Till, so he said "I will host this myself."

This fandom was approved by his family and The Rod Serling Foundation. One of the contributors to this article did donate there. You should too especially when the crew here are Twilight Zone fanboys. Can't get creepier than memes of Serling when he says, "Nothing is different in the dark than when the lights are turned on." Tell that to the Duggars. The fandom that doesn't suck when you see it — when you read these it's just like the original.

Twilight Zone fandom circles know how to screw with other fandom circles when done right. They do get tapped and R. L. Stine was drafted for one of the projects. Genre Fandom is a unique thing — pending on fandom no less. Some do become published long before E. L. James was making bank stealing from Twilight. Twilight Zone stories the fandom is small and indies look out for them, they are legit. You do a crossover with this fandom, the fun begins when you have cameos by Rod Serling in places where fandoms are based on Live TV where's Rod when the narration is him but yet the harrowing echo. A place in limbo we know as the fifth dimension.

This fandom and A Nightmare on Elm Street become crossover to original material if researched enough, ask the dark questions where you're going to be getting uncomfortable when seeing source material, documentaries and even Emmett Till if brave enough. If one served their country they'd follow in Rod and Richard Matheson's footsteps. Goths do very well with this fandom if they studied David Wright's output. The Twilight Zone enough is creepy; the fandom entries get progressively more original. They use this fandom to make social commentary like the original, but even then the writers know where the lines blur between sight and sound.

Don't send this style to Liquid Imagination, or Lovecraft Ezine if they see who influenced the fact-based attack. Use real cities and real neighborhoods, the real histories for the the entire fun of it but be careful when doing real person fandom playing in this genre. It's a total mind fuck if looking into the small press subject matter and exploring it. Keep Libre Office handy when you do, this fandom takes a lot of practice. This fandom is set in reality too so the dark fiction in this fold be careful there's rules to follow. Poignant is the name of the game with this fandom as the original character in Nightmare on Elm Street also lend well to this attack because Wes Craven contributed to the 1980s cycle.

This fandom and Forever Knight have a unique relationship with New Weird circles as one may never know either fandom will appear in the pages of a small press publication. Space 1999 will get butthurt because this fandom is ignored but Twilight Zone saw a magazine as a who's who in the small press in the 1980s were a part of this. If one wants to do the fandom with this you have to play up the style and attack, the scarier it is the better respected you are just don't piss off Talking Tina.

This fandom is legit, the funny debates come up if the story is original or fan fiction when it has traits of both. This is what they call Original Flavour, written for a possible showrunner. Some of the source stories are in public domain if they were found in magazines. Even some of August Derleth's material is in public domain, though the character suggested should be kept in the family.

Nuvola apps important.svg Article written in the style of its subject
This article is written in the real or imagined writing style of its subject. If you do not find it funny, it is probably because you are the type who needed this explained to you. If you still do not find the article funny, that is surely because a joke loses its humor when it is explained. The authors sincerely hope that you will pick up your game and laugh without prompting in the future.

People involved

The following are the roles of the fanfiction world. Proceed to stare in horror as you get hooked by the fluttershy above until you can declare yourself a gay brony. These are some of the guilty parties pending on the fandom, some do become published if one looks close enough. See: Philosophy Majors and they appear in The Twilight Zone fandom and Crow fandom because those are the two who end up getting The Anthology treatments.

16-year-old girls

16-year-old girls are some of the most putrid spewers of all low-quality fanfiction. The lowest tier of the Internet food chain, they are desperate of finding a method to increase their self ego, so they toss themselves into all sorts of fandoms and contaminating it by creating "one true couples" and creating self-insertion Sues in the process.

The Sonic and Naruto fandoms are just two of the victims, and if you think the infestation is bad for these two, there are just several fandoms such as Twilight and Harry Potter which consists entirely of these internet maggots right next to you.

The worst thing you can do is to give useful criticism, as you will activate the beehive of 16-year-old girls and you might die due to excessive flaming. Give them some trolling instead. They do a story that's Twilight Zone in nature show them the way to be published without getting fucked with by the small press because the bastard sons of this fandom do pull to publish. They don't write slash and yaoi when they become voting age, recruit them for a small press if they do dark fiction.

The following is a real reaction to the said story.

"Um...I don't mean to be offensive, but I'm sure you can take it. The story you sent me is completely sick. The fact that you call yourself Christian and then write about an innocent women drowning in a lake of piss in hell just because she wrote slash fanfiction is absolutely horrible. Do you ignore the Bible passages about avoiding judgment? About loving your enemies, turning the other cheek when they slap you, and doing good for those who hate you? Instead, you write this short story about a fanfic writer dying. You are not acting like Christ at all!"

That was a real response of this being of the 2004 short story from FictionPress.com which is still around since its inception. The story with that response made it a classic. The fantards seeing this all have that reaction and in 2004 it saw Mary Sues trying to flame on it when all they're doing contributes to the frightening sting it has. It's one of the most fucked up horror stories to appear in independent circles and to have that kind of response years later. You know you touched a nerve, use this story to effectively screw with the fantards who attempt to sell fan fiction of established copyrighted properties on Lulu.com.

What makes the story freakier than fiction for it's element a woman in Florida according to Fanlore.org died around the same age as the ill-fated character in the story. He didn't know of the real life counterpart until years later. This one was in the Forever Knight fandom that was born in 1964 and May of 2004, the said story appeared a month later. Irony you think? The factoid from the folks at Fanlore who refuses to give the small press the time of day. A story like that could only come from Chicago; more accurately Joliet! Prison City Rules in publishing, no erotic content no holds barred.

The piece made history before it was published on The House of Pain E-Zine, as this was one of those pieces that got FictionPress.com blocked from high schools. The reaction to The Fandom Writer rivals My Immortal from the targeted fandom, the creator of John Dark said of the story, "Badass horror story back when the internet was raw!" When the story appeared it was pass the popcorn at the responses. Even funnier is the story is relatively cleaner than The Cabbie Homicide in par of language, the cleanest M rated work.

12 year old boys

A 12-year-old kid writing a fetishfic. Or discovering the small press from their older brother...

The male equivalent of the 16 year old girl, these non-human invaders are the source of all poorly-made fetishfics and original characters. They are similar to the 16 year old girl in contaminating fandoms, but they are more into poorly made fetish fanfics and masculine gary stus. Or producing Org fiction if able to find his well what ever you call it.

It is heard that 12-year-old boys compose the bulk of the Pokemon and Sonic fandoms, where they create crudely-made May and Dawn breast expansion/pregnancy/rape fanfics and Amy Rose sexing with Rouge the Bat. Again, the prevention method is similar to the 16-year-old girl, but they are much more fragile and come in fewer numbers. Due to their frailty, they are also prone to moralfagging.

Some grow out of this stage, but others will raise questions when they end up on Wattpad.com. This one is too young for Archive of Our Own but they lie about their age, as some are clever enough to make Fake IDs. Wattpad they allow as young as 11, and FictionPress.com comes sometimes that age. They'll fool older readers because the FictionPress counterpart don't use l33t. They do get drafted in the small press when they turn 17 if they're on FictionPress.com or WritersCafe.org, dreams come true. There are a few gems when they produce something at this age, but usually they haven't outgrown their juvenile output. Some might be too young to know what a 'fetish' is.

Philosophy Majors

Yes, the real response when published authors invade public domain fandom then recruit them. The story that's going around that's disturbing how Leave it to Beaver was played up in the real Cold War.

This will show up in The Twilight Zone and Nightmare on Elm Street fandoms because some do ask questions about Wes Craven's academia. The funny shit or nightmare fuel shows up when it's researched.

Horror Fandom saw The House of Pain E-zine get embraced by the Halloween and Nightmare On Elm Street Fandoms. You will find these on WritersCafe.org and the average age of them are 19-20 years old but often this one are mature and are published at some point or been published a few years. Some are not clever enough to catch the Philosophy Major because they're the ones showing the small press street cred and have their own public pages on facebook.com.

The article Boycotting Truth used a Halloween fan fiction linked to the piece describing the nature of one of the convicted killers from The Cabbie Homicide. These fandoms are about deconstruction, and if one does well in Philosophy the fandom will fit them like a glove. Philosophy Majors overlap Goths, and the Goth in Twilight Zone fandom is their native playground.

The fandom gets noticed by Joe Dante and R.C. Matheson because of his father's output. On average, those in this fandom are a little older and do get drafted in the small press. So show your work but be careful of Encyclopedia Dramatica because they do cause a brain fart.

Furry Fandom is this kind of greasy fart too. Encyclopedia Dramatica and Fanlore.org collectively do this few times over on the small press. How many times we tell you, stop making Harry Potter producing butt-babies. We're not phobes, so stop it already...

Silver Pen Group has this and we quote, "Chances are we’ve seen it before. Repeatedly. We have it on good authority that the last original idea in Hollywood was shot and killed in early 1971, and its head and hide now hang on a Warner Bros. producer’s office wall. You know what we mean: stuff like regurgitated ‘The Body Snatchers’ (Finney, 1955). Movie and TV worlds have disinterred this, ran over it with a humvee, thrown it through the wood-chipper and reburied it. They will probably dig it up again like overpossessive dogs. Please don’t jump on their bandwagon."

David Wright is a regular with this group, a school teacher who really is researched with his subject matter. This one seen more one story published with their family just watch your language with them and avoid pandering. Those who write fan fiction and want to go original check out their material.

Clearly, if you can't break from the mold, just go with a public domain fandom and develop an original character with very human elements and able to relate to your reader. Break the fourth wall often as that's the roots of The Twilight Zone fandom, but don't let Silver Pen or their sister outfits as this is part of their not to send, "We’re no prudes, but a few carefully chosen earthy Anglo-Saxon expressions go a long way. It’s a puzzlement that some writers seem to feel the need to prove that they can out-swear the bluest of blue-collar workers. If you just cannot resist this urge, do it elsewhere. Save it for your in-laws perhaps?"

Emos/goths

One of the true terrors of the Internet, these cancerous tumors are the spewer of all darkfics. Any fandom they touch will spew a big black tumor which causes the fandom to become dark and emo with crudely — or clever, depending on where it's found — made creepypasta and darkfics which nobody fears like they expected.

This is what the small press community says to real person slash fiction, especially when it's an Mpreg. The fandoms who yell at slash fan fiction, the Goth is not mocked in The Twilight Zone fandoms and like genre fandoms. They get drafted. Though you have a 48 year old lady who writes lemons of Lord of the Rings, smut pusher when you see them. They see The Fandom Writer on FictionPress.com and be ready to bolt. That fucker got FictionPress.com banned from a high school, as the story goes. The student in chat said he planted the story as a bookmark as he saw a lot of creepy slash fan fiction subhumans bastardizing characters in class...

They usually speak in txt speak if they're 16 years old, and spam emoticons as well. They had established true dominance over the Harry Potter and Twilight fandoms, and other fandoms had been infected by these tumors of darkness. An infected fandom will worship all things dark and satanic like a mass orgy out of control, while writing crapfics about Dumbledore having sex with Harry while moaning their dark past thinking it is cute. Just like bronies, you do not want to experience such a terror of the internet with your very eyes. The Goth, if in the right fandom, "Fuck it all and let my demons out to play!" That joke fits but don't let Independent Baptists mess with the Goth because they will get in The Twilight Zone fandom and go for the mindscrew, this is their home fandom too.

Goths get published in the right places, you may never know someone might come up with another book like My Name is God Motherfucker'! You might find a few gems if a Goth does a creative nonfiction yarn aka finding The House of Pain E-zine alumni and get tips from them how to pull off the mindscrew. The latter fares quite well with The Crow if they know how to handle the character's tormented elements or create new Crows, Ghosts of War is one of those. The fandom who read this ended up featuring it to give the newly minted published author recognition in 2004.

There are some who do get tapped, or drafted so watch close if they write original material, they are regulars in The Twilight Zone fandom and will handle this fandom like a pro. Depending on the age bracket writing the fandom. Some celebrate The Cabbie Homicide as a high water mark in the Edgar Allan Poe circles and seen the output by Mick Mercer. The small press is something the Goths know where to find the obscure if they do fan fiction that references small press watch close. They don't call The Twilight Zone fandom the publisher's fandom for nothing because this is where genre publishers let their demons out to play. Become friends with House of Pain E-Zine alumni or have a few who are connected to Permuted, when you could tell the emo from the Goth. The Goths know where to find the good shit, so if you're a fan fiction doing horror, stick and ask them the right question. They will answer if you ask the right one.

The short story on fictionpress.com known as The Fandom Writer is easy the set up for finding Christian Nightmares, do material from this site and go on WritersCafe.org with it. Real Reporting then one knows they're on fire. Go about 2100-4800 words with the latter, for God's sake learn how to format your pieces to read like it appears in a mag. One may never know it would become a discussion piece. They get the $10-$15 dreadfuls on Lulu.com and The Book Patch then they're going to hook you up with the good shit. The Goth will find The Fandom Writer for The Emo then pull out the very Chick tract it referenced.

Bronies

Don't ask where this was found but dredged up on Wordpress.com but I had to change the colors so to save him the torture. I need to stop drinking the A1 steak sauce with Feo. Dude, what's wrong with you? Oh come on!

Being a pure terror of the internets since 2010, these newly-spawned horrors are not 6-year old girls, but instead "Grown Men" who have developed a taste for a show for 6-year old girls. Most of their "fanfics" are the most faggoty stuff you would ever see; it basically boils down to pony having lesbian secks with other ponies, much to the brony's erection and to a sane person's disgust. Some who see this scratch their head. Put away your childish things, folks. Quick, get him a copy of Chimeraworld before he gets an idea and fucks a horse. Encyclopedia Dramatica grabbed the insult on them too, and yes, it stings.

God forbid you have someone 40 years old doing this and of Power Rangers at age 29, this one calls his former publisher a 'retard' and cusses him out over losing the master copies of a project. The fallout with CreateSpace almost lost a vital roster. They may have seen inspiration in the book Org's Odyssey in the first edition of the release as that saw the Furry Fandom getting weird and published in 2003-2004, apparently iUniverse brushes this under the rug and that even inspired fan fiction *shudders*. Please keep Otterland out of the hands of our youth, damn it! The brony might have a 12-year-old kid.

The seeds of this fandom is that 272 page brick that he paid a grand to publish then reissued it with Lulu.com, this was one of the comments featuring the said title on Wikifur, "I assume people quite capable of making their own route to acquiring something they're interested in; we don't need to hand-hold them through checking their local library, booksellers, etc. There are plenty of books difficult to get hold of, because they're obscure or small-press or out of print; we don't need to document them being difficult to get hold of, only the facts of the book."

Being over 20 -- don't even think about it either because you will get flack from those who just don't understand you. Looking at this photo, someone please hand him some small press publications that are not furry fandoms. Put away your childish things and friends don't let friends watch My Little Pony if you're male even as a kid you didn't watch this with your male friends if you had a female cousin yeah they might have this going 24-7. This is the fandom where they were too busy rolling a fat one.

Critics

Critics are one of the worst things you will encounter when writing a fanfic. Most of these losers are fandomentalist fanboys; their arrogance and sheer persistence is the bane of all fanfic writers. One day you found a good idea writing a fanfic, completed it, and the next day you find an email saying; "Hello, this is <critic>. Your fanfic is a pile of trash. If you really watched the Pokemon anime, Giovanni's Persian is very loyal to him, so it will not join anybody else. Also, your character is a godlike piece of dog turd, or Mary-Sue in short. How can someone in the Pokemon series use a katana which can shoot lasers? Now read it twice and rewrite this pile of dog turd completely. Have a nice day." And you will really want to go hang on a rope just to regret yourself from doing it. There are several critics who care, but they are usually pwnt by a beehive of fangirls and ragequit.

Sometimes the critic is right with a fandom, they would say, "I read your creative nonfiction, your register is just too hard for this fandom. Not meant for you to pull off because you make Sherlock Holmes sound like a Chicago Southside resident. The writing style is there, I like this but the dialog is too acid tongue and rough. I'm surprised you're not print published yet, this is not if. But when. I am keeping an eye on you because you did something cool, but the register. You're a factory worker, blue collar. This fandom if in the mid-20th century the prison language would work You can write, but this is not meant for you. This is a British Fandom, you're Italian, the attack Italians have are too rough. Sherlock Holmes saying 'motherfucker' with a brutal beatdown of his rival, you're just too hard for this fandom. "

That feedback was real encouragement to play with Creative Nonfiction even further. There are some creative nonfiction writers who dabble with this but out of boredom, these are usually older and got authorized tie-ins of properties one never expects. Historians are the ones who can do this if looked into the geography. The critics catch these and give a gentle nod. Public domain fandom and Twilight Zone fandom will be the most critical, when you do them right they will give you some props and word of mouth to publishers. The feedback came when the one who did it was with FictionPress.com first.

Some fandoms they do it as a college try just to be a smart ass to see if they can do it. Catcher in the Rye you have some funny moments and crossovers in The Twilight Zone fandom, the send ups are not too shabby. These are the folks you won over, they're going to use pinterest to pin your material and if an article found here gets pinned you know it's jackpot.

They will help get you published if in the right hands. That's no bullshit either, the one who produced The Cabbie Homicide saw this happen more than once but even then targeted fandoms wanted him gone from history. Discussions are invited by those who are savvy of Creative Nonfiction proponents, be sure to keep the $3 handy to submit to Lee but have a Buy Me a Coffee handy for your sponsorship because Creative Nonfiction is near impossible to crack. Those who had seen newsstand for this is a rare thing in the fringe because this grew side by side with some fandoms, The Poe Fandom recognized the form. They're kind of like PBS with the sponsors, but payout and paydirt if accepted.

Everyone else

Everyone else hates your fanfics in a general. In fact, they hate it because it sucks, and it is true. They don't want to see Goku and Vegeta making out. They don't care about Yugi and Atem making out either. Needless to say, fanfiction about anime characters are popular. No one really cares about your sick "romance". They write creative nonfiction, they're going to crucify you over this because they will say you're in a hole that you just cannot get out of.

Picture Christine Marie Morgan at 48 years old being noticed for a Gargoyles Fanfiction when she enabled a creative nonfiction work to be plagiarized. Creative Nonfiction is one of the fastest developing genres on the web, and in print. It was coined by Lee Gutkind but it saw a darker sheen in the indie channels, you get caught slandering this and you're fannish shit is novel length that you just cannot sell. God help you. The Poe Fandom knows the growing genre they respect this as The Twilight Zone does when played up fact based.

There's a future with The Onion if able to come off as edutainment. Creative Nonfiction is a whipping boy and bane of those who are in their forties, writing video game fan fiction that's a brick in size. He wrote a story in The Twilight Zone fandom but insulted a publisher. They learn one is a creative nonfiction author they're asking questions wanting to learn more about the form, always have an answer ready when asked. They may end up pick up the anthology one appeared in, or see if they do a newsletter of drabble. Encourage them to flesh up their material because that's just as bad as being celebrated for characters that are just not yours. The Onion well if you spent time here as a contributor they will find out and draft you for the funny.

In fact, most people consider your fan fiction to be somewhere between a visit from a Jehovah's Witness and reading a blog written by an old woman with too many cats. They don't actually care. On the rare occasions they do think about you, they just want you to write properly and be a normal person. You may ignore them as you want but you will be considered a social pariah and a loser at life.

What you can do to help

Well. Stop writing shit like the girl on the right already. OK?

First, write properly. Seriously. There are several methods to write properly; and research your subject matter. Invest in an Open Source word processor and hammer something out for Liquid Imagination. Watch The Documentary Channel on YouTube.com if you're playing with Ripley's Believe It Or Not...

Show your work hang with 3toread.co on his website or watch legally produced films that are on YouTube.com one will see a direction then make the vision plain. Think what's in the Old Testament too, watch plenty of documentaries to develop your characters. Be honest with the entertainment industry; writing fan fiction that's not public domain character. I am going to be point blank, it's kind of like going in a movie theater with a cell phone camera and attempting to sell it as a weeaboo channel on Pirate Bay.

Find a less stagnant topic. The shit in the above sections has been done to death, and please don't let the shit rot all over and over just like spraying perfume on a rotting corpse just to make it less stagnant. It's not going to have any effect at all. Find something innovative and informative subject matter to write.

Plot your characters carefully. There's no point in making a character god-like or emo and dark. It's just boring, and it's as previously said, stagnant, as that's pretty much every other omnipotent amoral god-like alien being in Star Trek.

Just use your common sense, with some deep thinking, and you can write a good throwaway federation research scientist to meet Kirk, Spock and McCoy and receive a moral lecture. A frightening and real paranormal mystery or nightmare fuel for Fox Mulder and Dana Scully to solve.

Since they played up in Villa Park, Illinois, play with Resurrection Mary with them as the small press circles Chicago is a holy grail of weird. Some of the new weird members have done an authorized anthology for the series, the fandom produced a published author here and there. It does happen. Look up Ralan.com and see the small press markets, you won't make a mint but seeing a quick $10.00-$30.00 you're paying your dues. Some of the publishers who grew up with the show, are very strong with the eye to watch the fandom close because they have been tapped. A decent random medieval village for Xena or Hercules to walk into.

However if you are writing another episode of Gilligan's Island, try not to have them successfully leave the island at the end, and yes, there was probably a lot of fucking going on. Similarly if exploring the delicately tonally balanced world of Hogan's Heroes, try and not have Colonel Hogan kill Hitler with a rag tag crew of prisoners or liberate a concentration camp to a laugh track.

The punchline of the small press circles, it was Another Hope before it was this. Furry Fandom yes; artwork study the trainwreck as it's in the ash heap of history

The Twilight Zone attack and X-Files are related, they do get tapped for publication so be sure to study the masters. Avoid writing a fucking mpreg if you don't want to get your ass kicked. Do not do a slash story of a publisher's pen name and his son, real person slash nearly got someone tossed in the Chicago river for even attempting by way of the North Avenue Bridge. Don't even attempt to sound like Org's Odyssey as Author Solutions and Lulu.com both try to brush that piece of shit under a rug.

Most video games have only slightly more dialogue in them than the back of a box of cereal, but if you want to explore the darker, sexier, more adult side of the world of Pac Man and have him leave Ms. Pac Man for the Honey Nut Cheerio's Bee. Who as a drone isn't as gender binary, than feel free, why not? Most PC games have modding communities which integrate their fan fiction directly into the actual work itself. There a few media tie-ins, markets for more realistic games, but most people who make fan fiction would rather 10 novels worth of material rather than try programming something in 3D.

Anime are a bit tougher as they normally only consist of 26 episodes with a lot of plot and character development and fewer stand alone entries, so there's not as much time to analyze the creator's formula for a generic episode. But that's only if you're actually trying to make it tonally and thematically similar. Most people who write anime fan fiction are just having power/sex fantasies involving twelve-year-olds who shoot sparkles, so don't worry about putting in universally accessible moral lessons about honor, love or friendship or include any events that reflect the more mundane aspects of real day to day life.

Also be careful about introducing too many new characters or else you'll end up with the same problem as the teams behind Sonic the Hedgehog or X-Men and just write dozens of minute-long cameos, as there becomes increasingly less time for any of them to develop or do much of anything. Although having a million characters is fine if it's just an orgy, having this many people doing things at the same time and place turns the story into a sports broadcast, so there need to be some goals and a focus for the audience to follow that keeps things moving like a ball.

Your plot is also important. The dark past/classic saving the world/one true couple plot has been stagnant. Try saving the world in a new method, or just make a blatantly nonsensical fanfic. They'll like it more than some cliched plot story. If you'd rather not get everyone's dialogue hilariously wrong and move the story down directions where it forgets what the source material is, than just do fan art, some of that actually looks pretty good even if it doesn't have much of anything memorable to say or is done in a completely different style from the original, part of that is because a ridiculously crappy piece of visual art only takes half a second to look at and laugh off. Seek out brain bleach or eye bleach, while a crappy story can take hours to read and leaves you feeling more tired than amused.

Finally, don't give a fuck to the fangirls. By not giving a fuck I mean don't give constructive criticism. By not giving constructive criticism you can save yourself a flamewar to deal and not feeding the fangirls with yourself. Just outright troll them by making a parodyfic or spamming them with a sockpuppet. Or you can just not give a fuck and run away. If you're handy with HTML on Archive of Their Own, park this article with The Fandom Writer on their page for some fun with them.
