UnNews: Drawn Together Edition

I need an UnNews logo attached to the empty space on this image and edited in such a way that it appears genuine, not photoshopped. - User:Guest/sig 18:29, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
UnNewsWaterMark.png

  • I hope this is what you wanted. I wasn't sure if you wanted a watermark type thing (which is what I gave you), or if you wanted the logo to be in the animated style of the show. But, you got this, and if you don't want it, tell me what you do want and I can try and make it happen. --Sir Zombiebaron 22:56, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Deadly Weapons

This is for Chesty Morgan's article. I need a version of the cheesy original cover (as seen in wikipedia [[1]]) turned into a artsy eurpean movie featuring Chesty Morgan and Jean-Paul Belmondo, directed by Jean-Luc Godard. The title remains the same. herr doktor needsAcell Rocket.gif [scream!] 00:26, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
DeadlyWeapons.png

  • Obivously I took "artsy eurapean movie" to mean "piece of crap poster" :) I hope its what you wanted. PS I could fix her head if you wanted, but I like it better this way. --Sir Zombiebaron 15:29, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Thank you very much, ZB. We will do with this one but, if you have the time, I suggest two little changes: this font is more the kind of a German expressionist movie, guess we could do better with a sixties-seventiest modernist font, as the one here [2]. And, as her boyfriend dies in the "movie", I was also thinking about a Belmondo big head faded in the background. Again, thanks! herr doktor needsAcell Rocket.gif [scream!] 17:34, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
If you were to link me to a page where I could download a font you like, I would gladly replace the font (may I suggest looking through the free font page that I use). Also, could you explain the thing with the head more clearly? I didn't understant it the first time, being Canadain and all.... --Sir Zombiebaron 21:53, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, looking very brifly, I suggest this one [3]. The big head is what you see in most of movie posters, a giant head of a character in the background, the 'little people' or 'little things' in the foreground [4]. herr doktor needsAcell Rocket.gif [scream!] 22:02, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
On second thought, no need to reskin the image. Thank you and let's archive this.herr doktor needsAcell Rocket.gif [scream!] 19:01, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

I can't believe it's not Liberalism!

I need two versions, based on the I can't believe it's not butter! image. One for American Liberals and the second for American Conservatives (Neocons). Here is the Original Liberal flavor. Here is one of the images to be Flip-Flop free for the Neocon version. The Liberal version should have FDR, JFK, LBJ, and Clinton on it, and the Neocon version should have Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and George W. Bush on it. The joke is that both parties are basically the same thing, imitation liberalism, but have two different versions of flavors. The Neocon version is Flip-Flop free, and the Liberal version is the Original version. Thanks. --Lt. Sir Orion Blastar (talk) 15:11, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Mosey and the rhubarb

I know I’ve been asking for a lot of images recently so you’ll have to forgive me. I’m looking for an appropriate image of a pirate holding a stick of rhubarb for the taxobox in the rhubarb article (or at least the draft copy of the rhubarb article in my personal sandbox). This is because the article claims that rhubarb was first brought to England by a band of pirates lead by Captain Mosey (the founder of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster). This is a good image [5] since captain mosey is only about four years old, and it’s always funnier when it’s a young kid. His hand is also open so it might be easier to add the rhubarb to the image. There is text strewn across the image but I think Adobe Photoshop has something that can get around that. Any funny image of a pirate will do though. This is another candidate [6]. Again the pirate has his hand in a position that might make it easier to add the rhubarb.Weri long wang 12:50, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
PirateandRhubarb.png

  • There you go. If you need something fixed, don't hesitate to ask me. --Sir Zombiebaron 15:47, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks! I think I might start an article about Captain Mosey and his heroic efforts to spread the word of his noodliness.Weri long wang 09:59, 1 December 2006 (UTC)

Liberals

Icantbelieveitsnotbutter.jpg

Can anybody change the packet label to “I can’t believe he’s not liberal!” and add Alan Colmes head to where the food item is now. Remove the rest of the text or add something which you feel is appropriate and funny. Image will be placed on the I can't believe it's not Liberalism article and maybe the Alan Colmes article too. Weri long wang 17:47, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

I posted a request above this one, with what I wanted to see for the image. The Original Liberal version and the New improved Neocon version that is flip-flop free. Nice job so far, I think you can use the Alan Colmes version on the Fox News article as well. --Lt. Sir Orion Blastar (talk) 16:06, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (re-imagining)

Just started work on this article. I'm looking for a new MST3K logo (see the old one here), akin to the new Battlestar Galactica logo, which this article is sort of about. Thanks in advance.--Procopius 16:42, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

Pet Jesus

Well, here is the article. I illustrated it with Dr. Zoidberg dressed as Jesus, but I think it would be very better if we could get a Sea Monkey or a 'family' of Sea Monkeys dressed as Jesus and his apostles. Example of sea monkey picture: [[7]]. Thanks! herr doktor needsAcell Rocket.gif [scream!] 20:57, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Working on something. Any specific details you want? If not, I'm basically taking one of your standard Jesus arts and making it look like a Sea Monkey ad. --monika 00:00, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

(Oof. Gotta go to work before I'm done here. I'll have to work on it more later. --monika 00:07, 26 November 2006 (UTC) )

You've got it, it's just a Sea Monkey add turned into Jesus (apostles optional). herr doktor needsAcell Rocket.gif [scream!] 20:23, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

I'm really sorry for the delay... deadlines at work and my mom's incontinent dog who is currently in my care is dying. I think I'll have some time to work on it Friday morning. --monika 20:48, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Varg Vikernes fan-art

This is an open-ended request / invitation for people to add to the Greven-tan fan art gallery on this rewrite thingie in progress. This is what I have so far:

The general idea is to take Nevada-tan fan art (warning: Some of those images are NSFW) and adjust it to look more like Varg Vikernes. "NEVADA" on her shirt should be changed to "NEONAZI" and box cutters should be replaced with knives or explosives. The more images I have, the less it seems I'm lying about him being an internet meme! Thanks anyone who contributes.

--monika 02:59, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

(Oh yeah, and don't forget the scar on his chin. --monika 03:02, 19 November 2006 (UTC) )

Added #5. Now I need three more images so the gallery's balanced :) --monika 02:28, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Need two one more to complete the gallery row... --monika 20:04, 22 November 2006 (UTC) --monika 21:41, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

Balanced out the gallery and will probably stop for now myself, but the invitation is still open if anyone else wants to contribute. --monika 02:30, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Douglas Adams

This article was fully rewritten by me, from a terrible version that should have been deleted. Listen Raddy, this may be difficult, but I think your good enough. I need a picture of a man lying in a field, the man must have Douglas' head on him (if you can), it needs to be set at dusk, there must be a (whatever English fellows like getting drunk with) bottle near where he's laying. A row of houses or something should be in the background, but not taking up too much space (I don't know what Innsbruck, Austria looks like). Finally, the sky should be showing a bit, with some stars present in the picture.

Wow, what are the chances that the day I return here after a four month hiatus that the article that I myself had made a feeble attempt to rewrite had already been rewritten. Anywho, I would be glad to make such image. If you like, take any bits of User:Kaizer the Bjorn/Douglas Adams for use in the rewrite, I realize that a lot of it is complete crap but there are very few good parts. --Atomsk.gif Kaizer the Bjorn takkun Nya? This article needs a main picture. Maybe two. I don't have specific directives for you, but if you're acquainted with the recent article whoring accusations or Cody's collection of fan mail from IPs, the picture may draw itself. :) ~ T. (talk) 17:55, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Inanimate Sponge

Okay. This one might be a bit eccentric and tough. I need two pictures. The first, is of a toilet and a household sponge (see the article), leaving or boarding an airplane, sort of am imitation of how you see presidents and the first lady wave to reporters and press before they board Air Force One (you might use this an example).

My second request is pretty broad, so I want you to use your creativity. Find a picture of any president, and Photoshop a sponge in place of the president. I just want a picture of a sponge doing something president-like. If you have any question, I'll respond to them here. --Hotadmin4u69 [TALK] 19:47, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Forget my second request. I have an easier one. I need a picture of Inanimate Sponge on the cover of Time Magazine for "person of the year" or "man of the year" (see example here). --Hotadmin4u69 [TALK] 20:48, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Maybe it could read, "Jeb Bush, or a sponge...who would you vote for?" --Hotadmin4u69 [TALK] 03:15, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
Softie.
Here's your political poster. I took some creative liberties on the caption, and made it center around sponge and ommitted Jeb altogether, but I think it works niclely. The caption "Soft on... everything" is an obvious parody of the classic buzz-phrase "Soft on Crime". I'll probably also make a Jeb/Sponge one, and I can edit this one to your heart's content. -- §. | WotM | PLS | T | C | A 07:41, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

Nematode Worms

I’m looking for a screen shot of a game which I’ve invented called Nematode Worms. Am I getting myself into a rut? Who cares? I just like making fun of politicians. But I digress. This time around, I need somebody to manipulate the famous "Dewey Defeats Truman" picture so that Truman is frowning instead of smiling (as the conceit behind this article is that the writer really does think Dewey defeated Truman). --Kwakerjak 20:36, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

As far as other images I'd like made, I'm going to need a no-frills version of the 1948 electoral map with the modern color scheme (red Republicans, blue for Democrats) like the one Rc did for my 1960 article. You can make Strom Thurmond's electoral votes any color you want, but given his platform, I'd say that white would be the most appropriate color for him. --Kwakerjak 04:05, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

User:Kwakerjak/1960 Election

1960 election.png

Yeah, I'm doing another one of these. And this time my request is a bit more pedestrian: I need someone to make up an electoral collage map for the 1960 Presidential election using the now-familiar "red for Republicans, blue for Democrats" system. I ask this because the only public domain map I've found so far uses red for Democrats and blue for Republicans, and I don't want things to get confusing. (You can make the independent electoral votes any color you want).

And if anyone comes up an image that might be funny, I'll take those, too. --Kwakerjak 03:50, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

HowTo:Be a hipster

This sucker definitely needs some more images, as it's kinda boring right now. Trouble is, I'm having problems thinking of funny images to request. I suppose I could use a cover of NME for the "British music press" section. Also, I could use something for the college radio section, but I haven't a clue what would be good for that. • Actually, the college radio station I DJ'd for had a pretty decent logo, but then, our station manager at the time was the son of an advertising guy, who agreed to help us for free. Most college radio stations would have to spend money to get a nice logo, and money is something that most college radio stations don't got. --Kwakerjak 18:55, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

  • By the way, why GHFM? --Kwakerjak 06:24, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Let's see. I chose GHFM cause it sounded like the call letters for a made up radio station, and if it is a real station I can claim ignorance. Also, I have no clue what NME is, and I feel that to do images justice a basic knowlage of the subject matter is a must. Finnally, becuase I am commenting on you're comments in reverse, I'm sure that not all college radio stations have crap logos, but generalizations and stereotypes are easy. --Sir Zombiebaron 21:45, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
I only asked about "GHFM" because it seems to me that Uncycloversity Radio's callsign would be more likely to be KHFF. --Kwakerjak 15:36, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Also, could someone please edit this pic of a red sports car so that Jesus(Jim Caviezel from Passion of the Christ) is in the driver's seat) and Detective Carter(Chris Tucker in Rush Hour 1 and 2) is in the passenger seat?

Hey Raddy, after the recent announcment of the ps3 charging people to play demos at game kiosks (among other boring crap that doesn't involve gaming) [10], can you make a picture of the ps3 with one of those vending machine dollar acceptors on it? Here's one picture to work on.[11], [12] this one #4 could be nice with a bunch of coin slots too. Bill acceptor [13] better image would be nice, just the black outside part not the big inner acceptor. Also, on the coin slot pic, in the empty space on top, credit card reader? Ambiguous Jesii

In the mid-1980s, GI Joe went through a period of inducting popular icons into their elite military unit. Jesus Christ, codename 'Messiah', was one of these, along with Sgt. Slaughter and William 'Refrigerator' Perry.

I've already asked Mhaille to think about this, but I figure, since I was told to go here by the voices in my head, I should. So... my idea(s) for (an) article(s) is Kung Fu Jesus and/or G.I. Jesus with kung fu grip. I fear I have sown the sows ear, and I shall reap the bat fuck insanity with this one. Zimbuddha.jpg Rev. Zim (Talk) Get saved! 21:04, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Hey Rad, how's tricks? Back on August 4 I was such a freakin' n00b that I didn't put this page on my watchlist after I wrote you about the Cambodia bollocks I wrote. I just saw the flag today and I love it (depressing though the concept is, but that's life in the Third World, eh?). Thanks.

Meantime I've done a country profile on East Timor, and I've used a 25-cent Timorese postage stamp as the flag. I kind of need to keep the postage stamp design (and the 25c price) because I've written it into the story. Is there any way you could make the actual stamp design look fluttery like a flag? If you're feeling really motivated you could do a small-fry-related coat of arms too. Don't worry if you can't be bothered. I'm not asking for anything. I'm just stoked that you did the Cambodia flag. Thanks again -- -- Sir Armando Perentie Icons-flag-au.png KUN FP 00:17, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Life on Earth

Decided to add a bit more to the article, and in doing so found the need for an "artist's impression" of the life-forms described at the bottom of the About the "Humanoids" section. Basically, the picture needs to be:

  • Showing a green-skinned web-limbed human with gills swimming underwater,
  • Actually look like an artist's impression,
>Eeek!< It's so....humanoid...
  • In general, look like a picture that might appear in a Wikipedia article (as this is a parody of an alien Wikipedia).

The reason I ask is because I don't have very good picture-editing stuff, and I can't draw well either. ~ Ghelæ talkcontribs 08:14, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
