Cancel culture is when your favorite show is cancelled on television, your favorite talk radio host goes off the air, you get booted out of a forum, a wiki, or a building, or your favorite website, blog, or YouTube video disappears. Or, if your at-will employer hands you the pink slip.

Communist I say! These snowflakes regulate everything on the airwaves and won't even let you say Fuck, Shit, Pussy, Faggot, Bitch, Bastard, Nigger or Asshole on the television. How dare they cancel our insults! Nor will they allow any porn channels or anything with explicit sex to operate on the airwaves. They refuse television stations to encourage their viewers to engage in dangerous or self-destructive activities. Wimps! These commies even seize property: money for fines, money for taxes, and remove your station from the air if you repeatedly violate their commie regulations.

Those commie advertisers

Television stations are slaves to their advertisers, which help them fund their stay on the airwaves. Advertisers frown on things like racial insults, insults about gender, and insults about sexual orientation. They even frown on put-downs about dietary preferences, unless it involves a competitor's product. However, negative comments on obesity are welcomed, especially if they can sell weight-loss supplements, plastic surgery, gym memberships, diet programs, exercise equipment, and the like.

Those commie lawsuits

In the United States, and several other countries, people with sufficient wealth who feel harassed or offended can simply file lawsuits. If those get thrown out of court, they can simply file more lawsuits. Rinse, lather and repeat until one side runs out of money to pay the lawyers. In other countries, especially those without term limits, instead of wasting time on countless lawsuits, jailtime or the death penalty is simply imposed for displaying content that displeases the government.

Television corporations are pussy snowflakes that dislike lawsuits. So they operate in a way that attracts the most viewers while attracting the least amount of lawsuits or legal fines. But they should have some spine and balls, and just do things how everyone really wants them to! How dare they hire or fire any of their employees? What difference do contracts make? Winners don't pay attention to trivial things like business contracts, and they NEVER read the fine print. How dare the TV stations censor any of their content? Weak losers.

This is outrageous! These losers don't even let you use ANY racist or ethnic slurs on the radio. We should be able to insult whoever we want, whenever we want, because screw the libs. Screw these guys, I say. It is outlandish that they have to even censor words in any music they play too, that contain any curse words, or slurs. I should be able to listen to my music nice and LOUD and explicit to express my opinions! My Freedom of Speech is more IMPORTANT than my neighbors' desire for sleep!

It is outlandish the extent to which these wimps are afraid of boycotts. What, are these guys actually AFRAID they might lose customers? They don't need THOSE customers anyway. They should just fire these customers if they quit. Quitters.

Ok, maybe the DJ's on the radio went too far on their pranks. So what do those commies do? They sue BOTH the DJ's and the radio stations to put stuff they don't like off the air! • DMCA - copyright takedowns - This is the favorite way for corporations to keep their PR nice and clean by "taking down" any of their old mistakes with a copyright claim. Don't like big guns pointing at each other....like pistols that can be seen from outer space? Just file a handy copyright claim and pretend it never happened. Old racist or sexist movies or shows? Just file a copyright takedown and pretend nobody ever knew about it. Violence? MORE! MORE! MORE! MORE! We LOVE violence, and would never take that stuff down, unless it is Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny drawing pistols or pea shooters. We LOVE violent video games like DOOM, Quake, and the rest of the first-person shooters those spawned. But SEX? NO! NO! NO! NO! Young people might actually get the idea that being intimate with someone in a romantic way is a Good thing. We cannot show them how to be gentlemen and attract the women with their natural charm. It is way better that those young ones hide themselves away in the basement trash talking and playing video games, and stay there until you decide they are old enough to get married at the ripe old age of 45. Jobs? Live streaming your game tournaments can pay more lately than your cookie-cutter office job, and is more fun. All you need is some video game practice, ad money and enough viewers, and it pays for itself.

If those stupid advertisers pull their stupid money out of the stupid media, the media kowtows and does whatever the advertisers want to keep the dough rolling in. Including cancelling whatever shows or other programs the advertisers refuse to fund. Likewise with online video hosting sites. Soon after, the video hosting platform de-monetarizes the videos. It's a conspiracy! All the advertisers are in on cancel culture! And they have the video websites chained by their advertising dollars! Its a conspiracy, I tell you.

I cannot believe the gall of Twitter and Facebook to actually block or close my account! This is publicly available social media, so I should have the human right to use it no matter what I say or advocate. Nevermind that I never paid them a penny to use their services, I still have the right to use their services: if it isn't in the Geneva Convention, it should be! Because it is torture to be out of the public eye for even a second! Torture I tell you!

That arrogant admin actually BANNED me! I can't believe that guy banned me and refused me my RIGHT to free expression of speech! How dare he not let me act online however I want to? I should be able to be as Rude to anyone as I want to!

Terms of service? Privacy policy? Those are for attorneys to read, and don't make any sense or difference to the common man. Therefore, I should not be forced to "obey" them. That's reverse discrimination making me actually "obey" anything like a slave!

That arrogant international law

Why should the laws of some other country I don't care about affect anything I am allowed to do? If I feel like it, I should only have to obey the laws of MY country. There are too many laws already, just in my country. We really don't need more. Nevermind that EVERY country has access to the internet in some shape, size or form. I should even be able to post pirated content from countries that I don't live in, if it isn't a crime in MY country! Treaties are made to be broken, just ask the aborigines and the natives. Besides, anyone who isn't MY religion doesn't count as a person, and if you aren't a person, and don't have any army, your "treaty" is void and unenforceable.

That arrogant wiki hosting company

I cannot believe that wiki hosts actually impose rules on wikis to host their content! Wikis should be able to do whatever the hell they want to. Wiki hosts don't have the right to impose Terms of Service. And if an advertiser refuses to host their ads on other wikis hosted by the wiki farm, good riddance. The financial interests and legal liabilities of the wiki farm are FAR less important than what I should be able to do on my wiki! All wiki farms should just be nonprofit organizations.

Celebrity Cancel Culture

Despite anything anyone may have told you, no celebrity should ever have their contracts cancelled, and no agents or media companies should ever refuse to promote them. Celebrities are known for shock behavior. Why should the record company cancel their contract if they rip up a picture of the Pope? Or if they come out of the closet or if they lip sync all their concerts? Celebrities should never be boycotted: That is CANCEL CULTURE!
