- Originally Keep. Concept is inherently good: Humor website turns its aim on itself. Execution is awful, starting early with throw-away memes. What could be an easier first task for a newbie (though the page is already semi-protected) than to hack the page on Uncyclopedia itself and add another reference to Oscar Wilde? or twenty? Instant humor independent of competence! 10:21 Now rewritten. 13:30 Sycamore rolled me back. The Uncyclopedia article on Uncyclopedia I would have written is at User:SPIKE/Uncyclopedia, Inc. - How about you all quit hatin' on my re-write and feature it Considering how one guy who is so prestigious did not even bother to sign his comment nominated my rather good rewrite, how about we don't just jump on Spike rabble rousing little diatribes against this article. Uncyclopedia was founded and made by memes, drama and silly in-jokes - that are parodied very well in the article. Everyone here is going to have their own particular take on this article - and no re-write has ever completely pleased everyone if it's a major topic like Oscar Wilde, America etc.--Sycamore (Talk) 10:38, May 29, 2012 (UTC)
- I would have no problem if Admins had swept away this nomination. A new user, all of whose edits look like vandalism, whom RAHB has now banned for two weeks, submits an unsigned nomination to delete--what else?--Uncyclopedia. However, having been asked to review the article, I submitted more than a "rabble rousing little diatribe": It is a poor "parody" of vintage-2007 meme-cruft to have an article that looks just like it. Spıke Ѧ 10:55 29-May-12
- That's a very negative point of view on this article, like I have said some people who are proverbially younger in their time here wish to perhaps editorialize their 'unique takes' on how to make fun of the a site that makes fun of other stuff. Like I have said before, it's not possible to please everyone especially so with this article...--Sycamore (Talk) 11:08, May 29, 2012 (UTC)

- Nom & Burninate, for three reasons:
- It's an old, unused image that hasn't been updated since 2005.
- It's saved in a format normally reserved for photographs when it should use SVG.
- I don't see the satirical value of yet another map of the United States. Perhaps a color version used to prove some point would save the day.
- I see some redeeming value, though. -- Sir CuteKyuremOnTheRadio [CUN • PBJ'12 • PLS(0)] 03:01, May 27, 2012 (UTC)
- None of the reasons you mentioned are valid for nominating this image on VFD. Old, unused images that you think should be deleted can be listed on QVFD. It being in a non-ideal format is no good reason to delete an image, unless a duplicate exists in a more favourable format. Images are almost never judged by their inherent satirical value, but instead are valued in the context of the article(s) they're used in. If you come across an unused image that currently serves little purpose, but you don't want to list it on QVFD because you feel it could be used somewhere, you're free to put it in a userspace gallery for the time being (but create your own, in that case). You can also bring the image to Aleister's attention, since he's pretty much our resident go-to guy when it comes to putting unused images to use. —Sir Socky (talk) (stalk) GUN SotM UotM PMotM UotY PotM WotM 13:33, 27 May 2012

This page is a destination for users wanting to slam someone else's belief by declaring it a conspiracy theory--but it also has some serious and good ridicule that I would not throw out with the bath-water.
