Is Un-cyclopedia named after Kim Jong-Un?[edit]
Wonder whether this Uncyclopedia is named after thy great leader Kim Jong-Un. Did we actually anticipate for someone named after us? We will never know!--Zhenkang123 (talk) 01:05, May 17, 2018 (UTC)
- You know, that could be the basis for an article or a parody - North Korean Uncyclopedia. --RomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 08:34, May 17, 2018 (UTC)
- I was thinking of this possible snippet: North Korea has issued their version: The North Korean authorities and the propaganda division wanted to create a version of Wikipedia by themselves so that North Koreans civilians can get the information of the outside world (or rather Kim Jong-il's version). Before the North Koreans can even install the Intranet so they can upload Ilcyclopedia named after the then president Kim Jong-il, whose knowledge is vast and all-reliable, he died. The project halted until the Great Successor Kim Jong-Un finds the internet very intriguing and proceeded with the Un-cyclopedia project named after himself. However, the people in charge of the project defected (because they were found to be creating articles mocking about Kim Il-Sung) and in a desperate need of money, sold the project to the Amercian Imperialists who then went on with the project, creating funny stuff for the public. Of course, this version has been disputed many times by billionaire entrepreneur and media tycoon Oscar Wilde who claimed he founded it, not some stupid dictator at the other side of the Pacific.--Zhenkang123 (talk) 10:51, May 17, 2018 (UTC)
- This 'Uncyclopedia trident' was split from another Uncyclopedia in 2013, then in 2019 given to both Xi Jinping and Yoshihide Suga who tried to take hold of this version of Uncyclopedia for their own control with the market and order users on this 'Uncyclopedia' (if we can call it that) what users can and can't post, because it doesn't fit in with their 'mass media regulations'. 178.20.55.16 22:56, 4 October 2021 (UTC)

The potato logo[edit]
Would it make more sense if the image used in the infobox was the actual Uncyclopedia logo? Something like the image provided? Currently the image in the infobox is a 3D version of this logo without anything on the pieces. Thanks, 2604:3D08:3682:4500:4C14:C8D3:780C:180B 18:45, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
- This is a Featured Article (voted to appear on our main page). The potato logo they use is not our usual one, and has never been. I'm inclined to assume the authors chose to use that, perhaps to promote the comedy strategy that the encyclopedia writer doesn't really understand Uncyclopedia at all. Spıke 🎙️18:57 19-May-24
- Ah, I understand now. Thank you! 2604:3D08:3682:4500:4C14:C8D3:780C:180B 19:46, 19 May 2024 (UTC)
