I'm guessing it's as much plagiarism as "why did the chicken cross the road?" is - just a lot longer. Things like this are usually passed around, and extended as they are passed on, and eventually build up to the size it is. Meaning there's probably no single author, most of those authors are anonymous and untraceable, and also meaning that such a thing is quite at home on a wiki. It's not a bad thing that it at least ended up here. "Various unrelated things" is generally termed randumb and it's neither interesting nor funny. The lead paragraph is nonsense: it says the group is a research team but the rest of the article is about a band. The guitar tab bit is crappily formatted. And the article is filled with fancruft claiming that the band's songs are so powerful they set people on fire, kill grues, cause power failures, etc. OK, golly, we get it -- two or three fanboys think the band rocks.
