I did a quick search for repetitive, largely contentless pages:
Notice how some of them are actually about something and justified in their existence. Notice how some of them aren't, and how they usually actually devalue the other ones. This isn't the first of such articles to be taken to VFD, however, and and will not be the last (several of these should at least be considered as well, and who knows about others not so easily findable), as such articles avoid both the need for any actual writing ability or content or even effort, as well as often the need for a concept at all. It's usually a way out of writing a real article, and when it's not, how does one tell amidst the slop of the others?

- I agree, the Pikachu one really needs to go. I rather like that "Nooooooooo" one, though! I remember I once made a short movie for an experimental film course. Advocacy. The comedy concept is to take No Child Left Behind, the slogany name of George W. Bush's Y2K education law, and fit it to the wave of illegal Mexicans. To make this funny, you'd have to take the specifics of Bush's law, such as mandated testing and declaring entire local school systems deficient, and invent equivalents on the immigration question. It could be done, but this writer simply has a list of gripes against illegals (who often avoid the costs that citizens pay) and against Bush (who was not conservative enough for some people). The gripes are real but the article is a fanciful but angry manifesto using the fantasy that the unfairness was deliberate. - Weirdness is not a vice, but this article needs pruning. The fact that you can produce soft-porn graphics using only a typewriter doesn't need to be retold so many times; the page seems to be an assembly of such art, which is probably not even our own. The text of the article is a nice start. Spıke Ѧ 13:29 12-Apr-11
- I see potential here, so I did a bit of work on it. I think the page could use another paragraph (maybe one in 4chan style--ever heard of Train Man?), but since the article's subject is texty art, I can't imagine it needing much more than a couple paragraphs. Though it would be nice if we could downsize those "images" so someone can avoid zooming in and out as the page scrolls. -- Sir "TheSlyPony" Invariably certifiable. 06:10, April 13, 2011 (UTC)

- Cat on a fence, here. Most of the places it's used are just plain stupid, but it does actually add to perhaps some single-digit number of articles, which is more than can be said for some templates. The image one, however, is completely pointless. Also, Dexter, if you're going to reply to someone's comment, adding another comment is usually more effective than putting the reply in the original whatever they're commenting about. - Keep, thanks for pointing this out. This is really clever, and with a little cleanup and a few pics can be a feature (I'm being serious-ly). Had a few quick laughs without reading every line. Aleister 19:38 8-4-'11
- Definitely one of the best vanity pages I've ever seen. -- TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK 19:41, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
- Keep. If it were really vanity, I wouldn't excuse it, but the obscure philosophers are not necessarily self-references. A pleasant little tour-de-force, but parts, including the intro, need to be written better. Spıke Ѧ 23:26 8-Apr-11

- Keep. Booster Gold is an actual superhero from DC Comics. This article is childish but serves as a helpful repository of photos of people wearing gold armor and sport jackets. A tie-in to Midas would be the theme it lacks. Spıke Ѧ 11:53 8-Apr-11
- Keep "Memes and cruft"? None here. You know nothing of Booster Gold. Spike knows. MegaPleb • Dexter111344 • Complain here 19:04, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
- Do not! I had to look it up on Wikipedia. Only the Shadow "knows." Spıke Ѧ 19:21 10-Apr-11

- Keep. This is completely inane, but I found it pretty funny. If we do have to delete this, please someone spork to illogicopedia. -- 13:15, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
- Keep I agree with Spike that this doesn't have a purpose. But it is an Uncyclopedia article so that's really par for the course. It's sort of funny in a crazy, random way. mAttlobster. (hello) 13:46, April 8, 2011 (UTC)

- Comment. Having read this and looking at his other earlier contributions like Red Teacup, Jacque Grimhearse's writing style does seem more tuned to Illogicopedia than Uncyclopedia. It is nonsense but a lot better than other countless examples that still inhabit the darker corners of this wiki. Reminds me of Multiliteralist's work too...perhaps they are related?? --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 08:06, April 8, 2011 (UTC)

- Not hopeless. A real article about a real knock-off of the Fantastic Four, done by an author who thinks he's funnier than he is. For example, along the way to amusing yourself with gallows humor, you have to explain to the rest of us why your subject really was all that crappy. 16:54 7-Apr-11 Copy-edited.
