Editing some things

I've just changed the History section. This is about the worst article I've read since Earth, so I'm about to try and clean it up and make it seem a little less... oh, what's the phrase I'm looking for? Written by a four-year-old sufferer of Asperger's. --Xela267 16:33, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Not just unfunny, but unoriginal

Portions of this article as it stands are ripped off from Mark Shipper's Paperback Writer; the mention of Sonny Bono (and the Plastic Bono Band) being the most blatant. 70.173.19.215 06:20, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

A bit funny, but mostly stupid

I was expecting a LOT better from this article. I loved the "Everyone Except Paul Is Dead" joke, and a few others, but the rest was atrocious. The Beatles deserve much better, and so do we.

Ummm...Okay???

C'mon, man! The Beatles have SO much satirical potential. And when I say satire, I don't mean stupid "McCartney and Lennon were gay" dreck. "Everybody but Paul is dead" was funny and so was "McCutsie" but the rest was shit. The Fab Four deserve better. John could probably write better stuff from BEYOND THE FUCKING GRAVE!!!!!!!

PS: Someme trivia was okay. And why are the Beatles not in the "Better than you" category?

Comedy Routine

Sadly it is just simply fact that they were a comedy routine. Which makes it not particularly funny as a reference. I dare you to change it to a legislature, or a tribunal. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.218.2.86 (talk • contribs)

In fact, they were primarily a musical group, and portraying them as a comedy routine is a valid comedy strategy. Portraying them as a legislature would be much less likely to work; but give it a try at The Beatles (legislature) if you like. Spıke Ѧ 23:31 10-Dec-14
