And it's not as if I'm being political by calilng for it's deletion. It's just a crappy page. Also, FYI: I'm a big fan of making up quotes in general. Why delete a template because it's so easy to use? If we are to write the quote right into the article, I think we should keep the template so we can {{subst:}} it. But I'm starting to forget the purpose of this template. --sColdWhat 22:18, 19 Oct 2005 (UTC).

It's better to use the Randomquote template. If it's totally canned and has no variation, it probably has only a handful of suitable uses on the entire site, which means you might as well go to the effort to place the entire thing in the page, rather than just the template. Random quotes of the canned variety may sometimes add to a page, and they're easier to change/rotate. I think that they should be kept separate. The really random sightings involve Elvis, the Loch Ness Monster, UFOs, and Big Foot. These should appear only sporadically. Personally, I'd vote to keep the ReallyRandomSighting template. It has a separate purpose from this template. I've also recommended in the talk page that we move RandomQuote to HateQuote or something, to make it obvious for new users what it is.
