- Keep. I am the first to fight our stable of Yuky Doody humor, but this article is downright scholarly by comparison. It sets out to achieve something (not just the joy of writing about Crap to strangers) and it does it. I did not view the photos, and any that revel in graphic portrayals should be replaced by absurd euphemisms with really good captions. Spıke Ѧ 14:21 2-Jan-14
- Keep. This article contains several vignettes that I believe are rather witty, and I wonder whether it was read completely by those who want to remove it. There is nothing overtly vulgar or offensive in any of it, nor are any of the pictures graphic or repulsive. The article simply gives absurd word origins for each of the several synonyms of the word "crap". If you only read a little of it, try reading the entries for 'Buffalo Chip', 'Do Do' and 'Dung'. So "retard" (like "gay") is a slap not based on anything funny and not delivering anything funny; and in those cases we usually try to get rid of them. - Delete. Template based on Minitrue which is currently nominated for deletion. --Mimo&Maxus (Talk) 21:16, January 22, 2014 (UTC)
- Delete. A template written in a dialect explained in a novel is an impediment to the reader. The impediment is deliberate, but then it is one more template that purports to guide the reader's interpretation of an article he hasn't yet started reading. Authors should let their articles do the talking. But the template is not based on the Minitrue article nominated above, nor does it link to it — only to that article's basis, a government agency in a classic novel about totalitarianism. - Even though it is written in Orwell's newspeak, it can still be funny for those who don't understand it.
It is not based on the article Minitrue, as the this template was created a way earlier than I wrote the article. Anton (talk) 16:19, January 23, 2014 (UTC)
- Keep. This template could be used as satirical back up on a communist article (maybe 1984 article). No need to delete template only restrict template use if necessary. Sir ScottPat (talk) VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 21:05, January 24, 2014 (UTC)

- Comment. A satirical pun using the Newspeak language from 1984 (established by the Ministry of Truth (Minitrue)) to establish that a page has a Communist bias (how I would expect the template to be used). I don't like the use of templates usually unless used in a way that actually adds to humour. Therefore the thing at fault is the use of the template and the absence of a link and slight re-write it needs, which can easily be done. However the idea of the template is valid and is fine. It uses Minitrue in the same way Pig Latin is written if you understand it it is very funny and even if you don't a quick research will provide you with the laughs.
- I remain indecisive as the template needs re-writing for humour and I struggle to see how it can be used to add to humour of article. If Anton could remedy this I might vote for. If not then I may vote against. Sir ScottPat (talk) VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 17:48, January 23, 2014 (UTC)

- Delete. The first sentence, "For those of you who are too lazy to bother reading this masterpiece," convinced me I was indeed too lazy to comb this sprawling diary entry to look for the humor. It is even easier to huff it than to remove the editorializing and the grammar error in the title. Spıke Ѧ 14:49 2-Jan-14

- Delete. There are two things that can be said about this article. Either you are English and you read this as basically the truth with no humour or you're from another dialect of English and you stare at this attempting to pronounce Norwich-speak in an Australian, American etc. accent in which case the pronunciation is neither funny nor true. At the very least the author ought to have written joke statements (and no, "Ar yoo Bin Laden?" does not count as a joke!). Sir ScottPat (talk) VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 14:09, January 25, 2014 (UTC)
