- There is a funnier version in the history that I think satirises the page better. If not, I can easily write the page over with better satire. I'm a die-hard fan of this show, and I can find a way to make jokes out of it (it's what we fans do. );) Mr Whiskers 21:59, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Your version of the page is extremely poorly formatted, extremely listy and lacks satire. Read HTBFANJS and start working on a better rewrite in your userspace if you love Thomas so much. -- TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK 22:01, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Mr. Whiskers has copied Thomas as his userpage, which is certainly within his rights. Let it rest in peace in that locale. *Makes the sign of the coypu over the remains* ----OEJ 23:01, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
I'll take the time to make up for my attitude. All I was trying to say is that, to the true fans of the series who understand how it functions (and - in today's series - malfunctions), it was funny. Perhaps, when I can figure out how to properly redo it so that each's own will understand it, I can recreate the page the way it should've been. In the meantime, the disgrace that the others turned the page into can sink away... With honour, Mr Whiskers 00:20, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Well said...er, written. I humbly suggest you cloister the best version -- the one you personally like best -- in your user space and revise it at your leisure. When it is fully baked and nicely brown, put into the mainspace. If well and honorably done this should cause no rumpled undies amongst the denizens of Uncyc. I would hope. ----OEJ 01:01, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Also, it bugs me when people give "2005/6cruft" as a reason to delete. Can't you find a reason that doesn't depend on the year it was written? I'll accept "it sucks," mind you... —Hinoa talk.kun 23:32, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed -_- Also I think there are way too many decent articles making it onto VFD at the moment. There isn't a daily nom quota you have to fill guys. If it doesn't suck that bad, you don't HAVE to fill up VFD with not-so-sucky articles. We all have better things to do with our time. ~ Dame Ceridwyn ~ talk DUN VoNSE arc2.0 02:24, 27 July 2007
- 2005cruft is a reason, just as sexcruft and towncruft, etc. are. Each refers to an UnGenre of poorly written article. In the case of 2005cruft, it's not the fact it happened to be written in 2005; it's that there were so many very short, poor articles written when Uncycl. began, which we are in the process of eliminating. Likewise, randomcruft are articles that depend on the overused random form of humour, and sexcruft relies purely on cliche sex. And I've experienced cliche sex just a few times too many. Sir Roger 03:51, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Then don't use the name "2005/6cruft" to describe it. Try "old and unfunny." —Hinoa talk.kun 04:35, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- As I've said before, I think it's kind of become part of the vocabulary now. But I think it should be used sparingly, just because the more you use it the more you start to automatically associate old and rarely-edited articles with awfulness. Giving reasons is a nice internal self-check that you're nomming this because it's not funny rather than just not to your taste. Even the worst article deserves at least the couple of seconds thought it takes to find a reason why it sucks, at least when nominating. -- (but)

- The bulk of this article is a really ugly and poorly laid-out wikitable with too many obscure references and in-jokes to be funny. Also, because pure lack of quality might not be enough, let me add: this article has very little hope of getting better. - Keep Needs a severe pruning though, including all those redlinks. Could come out as quite a nice little parody half as long as the original... -- (but)

- This wasn't already deleted? I thought it had been... Oh well. Can all Naruto-related pages just be CVP'd?
Naruto already is. Also, delete this CVP-bypassing shit. --Dexter111344 01:45, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- Well, it had been... I still suggesting CVPing all Naruto-related articles because no one seems to be able to come up with any funny related to it.--Dexter111344 01:51, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- One day, someone will write a funny Naruto-related article. I have faith. It's a bit like religion in that it's not based on any of the evidence. -- (but)

- Keep. Rolf Van Der Laan is someone who was referenced on the Holland page ages before the Rolf Van der Laan page was ever created, as reference to the history of the page will reveal. The fact that he is not famous is the essence of the joke: in real life he is the less than successful relative of two actual Dutch politicians, Medy van der Laan and Lousewies van der Laan.
