- I am thinking about voting keep, because the first sentence makes me smile. However...the first sentence is the only good bit. I'll decide later. KickAssAndGiggle (talk) 13:34, February 19, 2014 (UTC)
- The first sentence is typical of any unoriginal article written on a country near Russia (or Russia itself). When you've gotten over the hilarity that Russians drink vodka and their politics is a bit corrupt after a few of these article you begin to realise it is tiresome, repetitive and unoriginal. Please do poke jokes at Russian drinking habits and politics but make it original. Sir ScottPat (converse) VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 14:52, February 19, 2014 (UTC)
- The first sentence has aspects of a list done well: each item absurd in a different way and finally collapsing on itself. But it also has aspects of an article done badly: Tons of digressions, as though everyone in the classroom wanted to be the one writing the first thing. Giggle is right that, by the second sentence, we see that the charm is merely inability to write in English. Spıke Ѧ 15:07 19-Feb-14

This page is one of the first play-on-words using symbols on uncy (read the talk page for an interesting conversation between the founder of unyc and some of the first members). - I am not sure about this one. You don't absolutely have to read the code to understand the joke but without reading it, it is extremely difficult to get it. The random things are actually a half-encrypted message ("Corrupted absolutely") and this leads to the only joke the article has - that "absolute power corrupts absolutely". Do you think the pun will gain from being more obvious? Anton (talk) 18:55, February 17, 2014 (UTC)
- No, you don't have to absolutely read the source code. But the page is like a syllogism where the page title gives one premise, and the content gives the conclusion, provided the reader supplies the other premise. "Too clever by half." Spıke Ѧ 19:13 17-Feb-14

- I shall explain the joke, or at least how I interpret it. Brian Herbert, the elder son of Frank, is writing these crappy sequels to his father's classic series (and he needs another credited writer to do it). Feyd is the second son of the leader, and wants to take over the throne. Frank Herbert had more than one child, although his second son died of aids 21 years ago. See the See also for further explanation. This is a very good satire if few words and in the form of our classic Sojourn series. I must now go see if my Spice has arrived. Aleister 14:48 12-3-14
- Dear voters, if I have your permission, I will move this page to UnBooks:My sojourn/Chapter 11. Anton (talk) 20:21, March 12, 2014 (UTC)
- I still don't get the need for a "book". The category surficed, and is featured. I looked at Chapter 1 of your book, and you made wholesale changes in the original article. It's not even the page anymore, but something different and broken with the format. Did you continue editing all the pages you've put in the "book"? And the original MS article is no longer listed in the category, which was featured because of it. Very Confused in Crimea, Aleister 21:07 12-3-14

- Developing a single joke to small-article-length is not fatal but the mark of an article that has a (single) comedy strategy. This article's strategy is the Kleenex as a masturbation aid, and it does pursue several angles (or meanderings, if you like): Wikipedia-based history, competition for the tissue box, and increased need in the web-porn era. - New user Dilligafhahaha in fact was starting to add an image, but I told him on his talk page that it seemed to me that the cartoon was stolen humor. He also added occupational humor, under the wrong section head, attracting nominator's attention. A better option is to see if he will take ownership of the article. If not, or if he doesn't return, I'll vote Delete. as the article is indeed too listy and unfunny. Spıke Ѧ 15:00 22-Mar-14

Delete. On the site since 2006. Someone else doesn't realize this is a humor wiki. Spıke Ѧ 22:29 27-Mar-14 Retracted Spıke Ѧ 18:29 29-Mar-14

- Point well-taken; there was a better version in the history that I should have looked for. Spıke Ѧ 18:29 29-Mar-14
