The undercover "restauranteurs" were promised a wide variety of miniature ingredients.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Breitbart is enmeshed in scandal again. The notorious right-wing blog stands accused of using falsification to embarrass Planned Parenthood.

Undercover agents from the Internet prankster met with Planned Parenthood executives, posing as Chinese restauranteurs interested in the by-products of its "reproductive health services," and claiming that, although baby corn is abundant in the market, their cuisine also required baby spleens and baby livers.

The prank is comparable to the time in 2012 when Breitbart shot video of ACORN representatives helping plan child prostitution schemes. The episode forced ACORN to undergo a costly name change before resuming its federally funded social work recruiting foreigners to vote in U.S. elections.

This month, the poseurs filmed Planned Parenthood executives discussing the sale of fetal organs. The video contains embarrassing surprises, as the representatives of the "non-profit" act just like businessmen, discussing how best to keep the merchandise in the most salable condition during the harvesting, target the highest-margin markets, and use refrigerated trucks to ensure that the produce is not spoiled during shipment.

Americans, who are thoroughly used to gruesome operations performed on fetuses, became outraged once they saw the evidence of open commerce.

In the U.S. Capital, the Republican Party, still groping for an issue that might explain its 2014 election victory, declared that it was time to zero out federal funding for Planned Parenthood. Party leaders said the Republican Party is not the party of abortion, but rather the party of "reaching across the aisle" to the party of abortion. But leaders insisted that, while anyone should be allowed to have an abortion, they should pay for it themselves.

Sen. McConnell remains the nation's most effective argument in favor of the wide availability of abortion.

The Democratic Party invited Sydney Seau to testify in committee. The daughter of deceased American football player Junior Seau was to state that her father's demise, partly due to hits to the head taken during games, could have been prevented by commercial availability of baby brains, though the NFL would need to allow a few extra days for Seau to re-learn the team playbook.

Republican leader Mitch McConnell (R-R), however, added that the issue did not rise beyond sending President Obama a bill to veto; not, for example, to overriding the veto, and certainly not to attaching the condition to a spending bill, where a veto would lay off actual bureaucrats.

Network commentator Mr. Big Bird looked down on the proposal, reminding Republicans of the last time they tried to de-fund an agency, when they remarked that people should be free to immerse crucifixes in jars of urine — but only "on their own dime." The National Endowment for the Arts — itself a target of a Breitbart prank in 2009 that suggested Mr. Obama might use the federal agency in self-serving ways, and targeted for extinction every time since 1981 that Republicans held all the cards, is still feeding at the federal trough, as Mr. Bird is too, despite delivering billions in royalties to PBS. He groused, "These are politicians. Making children laugh is my job."
