Pixar film deemed too racy, gets X rating |
21 April 2010
HOLLYWOOD, California -- Pixar Animation Studios latest release, a film about a sex-crazed robot, will have it's affiliation with the Walt Disney company severed, at least vis-a-vis this movie. Disney spokesperson Carson Wafflehead told UnNews, "since the Motion Picture Association gave this film an X rating, we feel that to promote it directly as a Disney work would tarnish our image as a family-friendly, homophobic, Christian institution. Therefore, we are issuing a statement to the effect that we will only be associated with the cash profits generated, and not the immoral messages of the film."
OL-E-PRO, promoted with a interpunct as OL•E-PRO, is a 2010 computer-animated science-fiction allegorical romance fuck film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and directed by actress and playwright Julie Andrews. The story follows a robot named WALL-E, who is designed to sex up a horny Earth far in the future. He eventually falls in love with another robot named EVE, and follows her into outer space on an adventure that changes the destiny of both his kind and humanity.
Lesbian activists have registered protests that the movie is male-centric. "Notice that the robot has a phallus, but no equivalent female genitalia," said Norma Lipid, president of Lesbians Against Buttheads, Idiots, and Assholes. "Clearly this is a nod to the Evangelical "moral majority" who abhor women in general, and lesbians in particular"
With outcry on both sides of the issue, Pixar spokes person Andy Schlafley said, "Look, we're just trying to make a funny, dick-based film. We have no agenda other than to make money. Attempts to politicize this film are just ridiculous."
