Uncyclopedia talk:Active Admins
If anyone felt out - please add yourself back. ~ 21:37, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
- I was left out!! Haven't you heard about the big movement to make me a sys-op, 'crat, staff and janitor? - [12:14 31 July] Sir FSt Don Yettie
Modiferizing[edit]
Just had a quick look at the contribs of everybody on the list. My first thought is that Flammable, while being sexy and cool and all of that, hasn't made a contribution since July, and before that since February, as with his logs. And only has like, five contribs and 15 or so logs in 2008 overall.
Second is that MadMax, while also being cool and sexy and helpful, is on a sabbatical, and hasn't been around since August, or early July if you don't count his two mid-August contribs.
Others: Rc announced he's going to be gone for the most part, I believe, we haven't heard from Zim] since August, and he's been sporadic in 2008, what with PC issues and all, and Hinoa has announced his departure. Though Hinoa's announcement is only a few days old, so we'd probably wait to remove him from the list.
Anyways yeah, just things I noticed about the list, I want to make sure it stays up to date, people need to get their answers and all that. Feel free to discuss, I'm not gonna make any changes yet. -RAHB 23:12, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- These all seem like very clear-cut cases to me. – Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize • writings • SU&W) 23:15 Nov 01, 2008
Main Page[edit]
When will the Main Page be updated to reflect the May 2009 winner of N00b of the Month? --Clemens177 10:16, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Should inactive admins be relegated to a box until they return ?--RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate). 12:02, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'd have to assume being relegated to a box is the reason for most of the admins who become inactive. -RAHB 13:11, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
- I see it has now been updated. No women admins ? --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate). 14:27, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
MOAR Updates[edit]
I think RAHB is more or less back. Jack Phonenix has been rather sporadic (40 edits this year) although his last edit has been recent. Similar situation with Olipro, but he appears to be watching the site a good bit. --Mn-z 17:42, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'm "back", but I never really left. Point is, my internet access isn't very steady since I don't have a connection in my apartment, so my contributions and ability to answer adminly issues has become scattered and less reliable. I just want to make sure nobody comes here, sees they can come to me for a problem, and then doesn't get a response. So I'll be keeping myself off the list until I've got the steady source of internet I hope to get soon. -RAHB 23:46, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Ok. Btw, I think of the admins on the list have been rather sporadic, at least in terms edits. I can't really tell how much they watch the site by that though. I think this should only list admins that generally check their talk pages at least once a day, or at least highlight the more active ones somehow. --Mn-z 04:29, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I think that's more or less how we've been doing it. The admins who are going to be able to deal with an issue if they're so needed are the ones who should be up, and those tend to be the most active. There's also the logs page, which many admins tend to have more entries in than the contributions page. -RAHB 21:19, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Removal?[edit]
Don't you think Codeine and Zim ulator should be removed for being inactive? Just saying. -- Frosty dah snowguy contribs KUN PLEB 01:20, May 22, 2011 (UTC)
- I'll remove Codeine, who I think still reads occasionally though admittedly doesn't do much active adminning. Zim is a grayer area. -- 01:23, May 22, 2011 (UTC)
More admins that don't appear to be very active[edit]
- Dawg (No edits or log entries since June 8)
- Jack Phoenix (No edits or log entries since June 20 and only edited a grand toal of 4 times in June)
- Mhaille (Only 6 edits for June)
- RabbiTechno (No edits or log entries since June 10 and admitting on userpage to going on leave)
I do realise that they do go on once in a while but doesn't active mean editing regularly? ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 09:24, July 1, 2011 (UTC)
- Jack Phoenix is definitely active. You can tell be how he only ever seems to come back to readd himself to the list. But seriously, it's supposed to be people who respond when contacted, and he does. Just doesn't do much of anything besides that. Can't speak for the others, though.

UM...[edit]
No one should be on this list — 00:31, September 18, 2011 (UTC)
- I deserve to be on this list more than anyone else. And Frosty. And maybe Andorin... -- PLEB SIR Lollipop (TALK) - updated on 18 September 2011, at 00:38

You can be an admin...[edit]

The poor defenseless mice[edit]
I have word that the mice of Switzerland are mounting a mutiny against you. Turns out the chief mouse likes your user status and may strike. These are gay mice so they fight like angry women. Just thought I would let you know before any other animal articles are deleted from VHF. Just be thankful I didn't write about Lions. It didn't make the cut, oh well, try, try again. ;-) Ticklethekeys (talk) 02:56, July 4, 2012 (UTC)
RDB to LHO[edit]
Roman Dog Bird is still an active admin. He just changed his name to Lee Harvey Osmond, is all. 19:05, July 28, 2012 (UTC)
Inactive Admins[edit]
I think ChiefjusticeDS and Romartus are the only truly active admins right now. Some of the other ones might be here occasionally, but I think they are focusing on the mirror site. --Mn-z 10:20, January 20, 2013 (UTC)
- Frosty deOpped himself which is why I removed him off the active admin list at Wikia Uncyclopedia. I was going to wait until after the VFS before making anymore changes here. --RomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 11:38, January 20, 2013 (UTC)
Stepped down[edit]
Should have checked the protections on this page before I did that...anyway, when someone gets around to it, I should probably be removed from the list now. Cheers. -RAHB 10:09, April 5, 2013 (UTC)
- Say it ain't so... -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)
Section 2[edit]
I understand why you removed me from Section 2 during my two-year hiatus, but I would like to restore this section, because me versus Simsie is a cuter contrast, playing on my caricature as a ban-happy Admin.
Separately, the final paragraph was meant to discourage unconstructive behavior by unseriously referring the user to two websites (which don't want it either). (Sort of like "the exit door is over there...no, a little to the left" in the very old Welcome file.) It has been expanded, largely by Simsie, I think, to encompass two other popular websites. This is not germane to the message and not something we want to do here. Comments? Spıke 🎙️00:27 28-May-19
- I don't mind if you readd yourself and revert Miley's change. I have no opinion on the other part, though I modified the text about Illogicopedia in June because it's not a popular site where you get lots of attention. It's pretty lonely and has been in decline for years. ❦ Llwy-ar-lawr • talk • contribs • 01:18 28 May 2019
Thanks for the response; I'll wait a bit for further comment. Again, info about the current status of other websites is not a point of this page; the joke was merely to use other websites as a place towards which to throw miscreants by their lapels. Spıke 🎙️01:34 28-May-19
Hearing no objection, I've mostly reverted the section (keeping one more recent sentence about the meaning of gray in the table of Admins). Spıke 🎙️03:01 31-May-19
