As Megyn Kelly is now at NBC, Fox News hardly still needs to insist that it is fair and balanced.

NEW YORK CITY -- Fox News is giving up its charter tag-line, "Fair and Balanced," according to New York Magazine.

Network executives decided last August that the motto was too strongly linked to Roger Ailes, who founded the network along with Australian mogul Rupert Murdoch, although viewers don't know that. Ailes became a pariah for sexual harassment charges, such as complimenting newsroom women and recommending to Megyn Kelly that she show more cleavage; although President Trump likewise believes that famous men can grab women by their "pussy," once fired a Miss America for letting herself go to Hell after receiving her cash stipend, and is likewise a national pariah.

"This has nothing to do with programming or editorial decisions," Fox News last week; not even with Trump's complete failure to get anything through Congress with his own party in control of both houses. By implication, Fox's sudden emphasis on grocery recalls, scary weather, and the Bill Cosby trial, is not about anything either.

With the death of Ailes last month, executives can put their decision into effect without fear of the telephone ringing off the hook. As Fox does not want the slogan, UnNews will surely steal it just like most of its photographs as though it were leftovers at the buffet in the Fox News green room.

The new Fox tag-line will reportedly be: "Comfortably left-wing, just like the others."
