Do your own stunts do you? |

HONG KONG, China -- A Hong Kong stuntman has said that he has doubled for Jackie Chan, sparking discussion about the action star's reputation of performing his own daredevil moves.
A spokesman for Chan said Wednesday that the actor uses a stunt double on Hollywood productions because American filmmakers are a bunch of chickenshits too scared to let Chan do what he does best under the guise of insurance reasons. The spokesman assures UnNews that Chan still performs his own stunts when making movies in Hong Kong. The blog entry by stuntman Bruce Law has sparked Chinese media coverage exploring if Chan isn't as daring as his reputation suggests. In fact, most of the Chinese media has begun calling Chan a total pussy.
In an interview published on his Website last year, Chan expressed frustration with safety rules in the U.S. film industry, where he has made movies like "Shanghai Noon," "The Tuxedo" and "Around the World in 80 Days."
"Believe me," Chan wrote, "If I had my way, I'd be doing things that would make the stuff seen on Jackass, The Dudesons and Bum Fights seem tame,"
Law, realizing that he's probably going to catch himself a beating from Chan, has tried to play down his comments, saying in a second blog entry, "Everyone uses stunt doubles. What's so surprising about it? Right?"
Law has been missing since that blog was posted. Chan has been unavailable for comment. If you have any information on Law's whereabouts, please contact the Hong Kong Police Department.
