Stubs - perhaps we should be easier on them when it comes to 'vital' articles... a half decent paragraph is better for connectivity than a whole slew of redlinks, and whenever someone has an idea for an actual article on the title, or if they want to expand on whatever is in the stub paragraph or so, they could still make something proper.
But the things are vital, and all. ~ 01:43, 6 January 2012
- Yeah, what Lyrithya said. Aleister 1:47 6-1-'12
- p.s. and speaketh of vitals, Puppy is doing a vital push kind of, and talked me into doing one. Maybe we should put those up in the requested articles section of recent changes instead of requested articles.
- Yeah, but we all know Puppy is a smelly poo-poo head. 124.168.71.90

- Big topics and vital articles tend to attract huge masses of unfleshed contributions from often dubious authors. A clean slate is often the best place to start with these things when the current state resembles a tumorous mass. But yeah, if you're going to create an article, then make it about a major/vital topic. And if you want it to have a funny, unsearchable title, then use {{title}}, and heavily interlink it on similar pages. -- 07:35, January 6, 2012 (UTC)
- I suggested elsewhere a 'holding article' to occupy the space. eg. Lindsay Lohan. Tagged as incomplete but not deletable as yet (perhaps admins should be able to approve of these 'enhanced stubs'?) --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 08:15, January 9, 2012 (UTC)
- Good idea. Give the illusion we have content while still allowing for more...
