Forum:Retro week
We have some awsome featured articles, and even more awsomer stuff from the early years of this site here. A few people have talked about refeaturing some of them, especially with the current drag on new articles (non-un-news) now. Summer is also a slow period for new works. I propose we have a retro week at the last week of July where we feature Seven articles from before 2010.
I'll set up a nomination page if there is enough interest, and then we can vote for the seven articles to re-feature.
If anyone is against this idea, then you can send me a letter, signed in blue ink to my personal address which I'm not going to give you. --ShabiDOO 18:17, June 14, 2012 (UTC)
- You can just feature Hardwick Fundlebuggy's userpage. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 23:00, June 14, 2012 (UTC)

Here we go again (sigh.....)
Another vote. For or against a Retro Week?

- I'm for it, if we edit them so they're semi-up-to-par with our current standards for humor. Evolution FTW! -- 19:32, June 16, 2012 (UTC)

Instead of refeaturing classic articles
How about we show everybody exactly how Uncyclopedia used to look in its early days? With a main page that was little more than a list, and articles that by today's standards would have been QVFD'd! Let's give ourselves a true trip down memory lane, and revert the site to the state it was in during January 2005! Only for Retro Week, of course.

- What is this, March? Are we voting on what we're doing on April 1? I can't tell. I've been on methadone for the past year. Honestly. Is this March? ~ Sat, Jun 16 '12 14:55 (UTC)
- This would be really complex without a single SQL command, abstain. -- 19:28, June 16, 2012 (UTC)
- For Let's go back to the good old days before the Main Page was protected, when anybody could feature any article whenever they wanted! -- Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 19:35, June 16, 2012 (UTC)
- @ZombieOnTheRadio (yes, that's my new name for you) I don't think that's such a good idea due to all the inevitable edit conflicts that would happen. But featuring articles that would normally be QVFD'd? That might mean one of my articles would be featured. Meh, I'm kind of impartial to this. ~[ths] UotM 22:40, 06/16/2012

- Twenty six weeks, and we only feature my articles, with Filial Piety coming in every other day (except for October, which is Filial Piety Month). -- 06:33, June 18, 2012 (UTC)
Retro week?
Does that mean I can hark back to the days of Chron and Mordillo? And can I bring my acid-washed jeans and dress up like Urkel? 11:40, June 18, 2012 (UTC)
