I'm writing to express my strong feelings about kitten huffing. This article is harshly disrespectful to cats which are intelligent feeling creatures and treats them as something that should be consumed by people to get high in a cruel, animal abusive practice called huffing

I demand that this article be erased immediately and replaced with an apology to all the innocent little kitties who have been mercilessly huffed because of this article. Think of the damage done to all the innocent kittens who were searching for kitten information on the internet, and instead found this awful page about killing them for recreational drug purposes.

Rather than just going to one of the other multi-million sites on the internet, I'm going to stay on yours and bully you with my opinion which is oh, so important, until you give up and let me take over and rule you.

Naruto is no laughing matter

Just because it's a fucking anime means it sucks, yeah right! If you'd just look past the fact it's a Japanese cartoon you'd see the solid plot and great animation!

Yes it made the Ninjae cry over that one, Naruto is one of their favorite anime shows and how dare we mock it. Mocking Naruto is like mocking the Ninjae, and the Ninjae have threatened to go on a violent rampage unless we take the page down. --Lt. Orion Blastar (talk) 22:02, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
Oh, puh-lease! I'll give you the solid plot, I'll even go so far as to stipulate beautiful, gorgeous, stunning artwork, but anime is not good animation. Low frame rates and jerky lipsync, repeated cels ad nauseum. . . anime is crappy, cheap animation. But awesome stills. Heh. I like it just fine, but I'm realistic enough to know that, technically, it's very cheaply produced. I love the concepts and images, but face it: anime became popular as a "style" after countless greedy american animation houses started farming out production to cheap asian producers in the 60s and 70s. After growing up with the WB and disney stuff, the rash of cheap crap in the 70s (which were nothing more than half-hour marketing campaigns for whatever new toys or action figures the manufacturers were pushing that week,) was glaringly inferior. Only later, when we began to see "real" anime (conceived, written, and executed by asians for the asian market, rather than cheap production of western concepts,) that I saw the merit in it.  Sir Tooltroll, Esq. You're right! The main page is offensive to countless groups of people, places and things. What were we thinking? We need to shut down this site right fucking now before more are offended. I mean gosh, kids actually read Uncyclopedia? I didn't know that. I thought this was a site for mature adults? Laughing Matters are no Laughing Matter

Perhaps we should limit ourselves to making fun of people that are hated by everyone, such as Hitler and that dancing guy from the Six Flags adverts. I take my humour very seriously (and with sugar and just a touch of milk) and I don't want to see its reputation ruined by one drunken night behind the cricket pavilion with that guy from accounting and the girl who works in the copy room... *ahem* All I'm trying to say is that if we go around poking fun at everything, we could put someone's eye out.

Seriously folks. I hate to be an alarmist here, but I also don't want to end up in a Special Hell. -- Wicked cScott (talklog) KUN PIE NS FP 21:03, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

But even Hitler has his fans (where would "the History Channel" be w/o him?). Maybe we should just stop being funny; that way no one would be made fun of, and no one would be offended. I took that first critical step a long time ago, an have since consistently avoided writing or 'chopping anything that could possibly be construed as humourous. Reading VFD I see that there are many other users doing the same thing.--Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 21:16, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Au contraire, my friend. Laughing matters are precisely that: making fun of others and accepting that others make fun of you. It is those who are not able to do the latter that try to force "good behaviour" in whatever variety onto the former.
