Forum:Ban-O-Mania Must Stop
Unfortunately, that's exactly what some admins (THE LAW ENFORCEMENT DUDES AROUND HERE, GOSH!!!) are being. I'm sick of you admins looking for excuses to do whatever the hell you want on this site. I've noticed that many admins have deleted articles without consensus, banned users for no reason, made up stupid policies that can't be backed up by an actual page with the {{Policy}} template on them.
Listen. I've heard about user subpages getting huffed because of a fuckin' ICU tag. You're not supposed to put ICU tags on user subpages! I've also heard about the recent TKF block. Apparently, the blocking party gave some vague/stupid reason for blocking TKF.
Did Jonathan Huang specifically give any of you those crazy privileges? Because if anyone handed out free privileges of dick-tatorship to sysops, it's time for change we need to come up with clearer site rules. Cute Zekrom! Use Fusion Bolt NOW!! • It's super effective!04:00 08 Mar '12
- I think you're a little misinformed here, man. Firstly, Jonathan Huang no longer owns or has any involvement in the operation of the website, and hasn't for about six years if my memory serves correctly. Secondly, every administrator is democratically elected by the Uncyclopedia userbase. And thirdly, of course, I'm not wearing any pants. -RAHB 04:57, March 8, 2012 (UTC)
- Huh? I got banned? -- 05:09, March 8, 2012 (UTC)

- That was funny, Zombiebaron. And no, I'm not proposing we stop banning vandals. (They should be warned first.) I'm just saying that the way admins have been acting around me seems to be a little crazy (that is, before I signed up). All infractions that can get you blocked should be clearly defined, because right now there's only two rules:
- We can't tell you what the rules are; and
- Ignorantia juris non excusat. (Latin: "Ignorance of the law is not a valid excuse, though on Wikipedia it depends.") Cute Zekrom! Use Fusion Bolt NOW!! • It's super effective!00:16 09 Mar '12

- Ah, no. When you become a user on Uncyclopedia you have to dance like you've never danced before (meaning expand your limits, in creativity, in writing, in lots of things) or you should be infi-banned. By the way, did you hear that Fermilab did another just-about-there-confirmation (99% for the third time) of the Higgs? Aleister 00:56 9-3-'12
- I get it now. But then what if you take a while to do that? In which case you can still do it, but it takes longer. And WOW, that's cool. Let's write an UnNews on it (i.e. the Higgs is a conspiracy). Cute Zekrom! Use Fusion Bolt NOW!! • It's super effective!01:03 09 Mar '12

All infractions that can get you blocked should be clearly defined, because right now there's only two rules:
Banning
If you read the wikipedia guide to good behaviour, it points out that calling someone a dick, is a pretty dickish way to deal with dicks. Posting a screaming angry mesage with feces flying out of your mouth and splattering all over our faces and t-shirts (which was actually really entertaining and confusing to read) will result in confused people who feel sort of entertained.
Yeah, they make random arbitrary decisions ... and stand by them with iron fists ... and justify it all with critical thinking skills ... and then break all of those rules themselves ... and then justify that ... with Greek rhetoric ... but really, 99% of the bans are justified, including 99% of my own numerous bans.
Take up your beefs with people on their talk pages. If you go spitting out feces all over their pages, then it will be far more entertaining for everyone than if you do it on a forum, and if you spit out enough feces in enough concentration, then you just might get that ban you are talking about. Or even better ... just Dance like Ali said. Dance like a radioactive monkey and show those admins the stuff you're made of. Then, become an admin. And then try ... just try not to ban anyone! --ShabiDOO 02:41, March 9, 2012 (UTC)
- What if someone told you not to recreate deleted articles, even though it's quite obviously permitted here? Everyone does it. It's the only way for Uncyclopedia to keep evolving.... Cute Zekrom! Use Fusion Bolt NOW!! • It's super effective!02:53 09 Mar '12
- Then you dance like you've never danced before! --ShabiDOO 02:57, March 9, 2012 (UTC)
- By not recreating deleted articles we mean not recreating them with exactly the same content that was already there when it was deleted. If the article is recreated with different content (provided it doesn't suck), then it's okay. Also something about dancing. -RAHB 03:10, March 9, 2012 (UTC)

- Good point. But what if a friend showed you the article before it was huffed and for some strange reason you memorized it before it was huffed? What are you going to do now?! (I know, too many what-ifs!) Cute Zekrom! Use Fusion Bolt NOW!! • It's super effective!21:34 09 Mar '12

- No no no...hold here RAHB. I think he is going somewhere with that one. What if someone automatically saved every edit they had made on uncyclopedia and then put it all on a pen drive to be auctioned off after their suicide, and then some new user bought that pen at the acution or maybe killed the guy who did win the auction, and then that new users took it home, and then uploaded the pen drive onto their laptop and then copied the original text of an article by the guy who commited suicide, an article that had been huffed and then the new user made a couple good edits to that article. Now...tell me...would that be the kind of article re-creation that should be bannable? I think we should be clear about this so that admins don't go around making random decisions. --ShabiDOO 23:00, March 9, 2012 (UTC)

Vote
- I think that should be an excuse, because you won't know what the hell it is if someone just hands it to you. Also, what if you don't know the rule? - I would tilt towards for...any death/suicide/murder/manslaughter and following recreation of an article due to illegal data capturing, transfering and related acts...should not constitute an instant ban. --ShabiDOO 23:26, March 9, 2012 (UTC)

- Thank god we're not Wikipedia. Insulting vandals is an Uncyclopedia past time that has kept many admins sane. Well, maybe not sane, but it stops them from killing people. OK, maybe it doesn't stop them from killing people, but at least it makes them sleep better at night. --Hotadmin4u69 [TALK] 03:54 Mar 9 2012
