Los Angeles, California -- Sources close to American socialite reality star Kimberly Kardashian has reported that she has rejected an offer of $250,000 to document her pregnancy online. Kim Kardashian offered $250,000 to Document Her Pregnancy

"While Kim is very interested is doing such a project, she feels that the offer of $250,000 is much too low," said Kardashian's mother and manager, Kris Jenner. "She believes a fair price would be around $300,000."

The project's director, Armenian filmmaker David Dginguerian, pointed out that a pregnancy-based website is a rather niche market. "I honestly don't think I could make a profit at $300,000. The market for this sort of project is fairly narrow. Some people get very excited about this sort of thing, but most people don't really care. This is also Kimberly Kardashian's first pregnancy, so she might actually not be that familiar to the fanbase."

Jenner, however, rejected the notion that Kardashian might have name recognition issues, "Kim is one of the most famous celebrities alive today. And unlike other celebrities, she didn't become famous for acting, professional sports, music, or any other talent, but by doing exactly this sort of thing. I'm sure she won't have lack-of-recognition issues."
