  • Author is in the middle of the most gradual rage-quit in Uncyclopedia history (including nominating all his own stuff for deletion so that the rest of us have to drop everything and read his "work"), as it is unfair to him and a commentary on someone else's personality that he can't write funny things to himself all day that no one else will look for or appreciate. You have a real knack for inventing unflattering motives for things you can't explain. Anyway, it has proved useful to have my stuff on VFD, not because I personally think it's bad (I think this article for instance is much funnier than articles I wrote that got featured like Rembrandt or Glory hole), but because they obviously aren't suitable for this site. I've started a complete re-write Romartus, as I was struggling to expand on the one joke. However, "I'm a James Brown vending machine" - hahaha, what a brilliant title! That could be a funny article by itself: yeah baby, I'm a sex machine, it's too funky in here! Monetary "Sex Change" could be a running joke within something like that maybe? Currently working up the well-oiled biceps of human vanity mashed with an ignorant take on biology to see if that works better. --EStop (talk) 10:43, July 13, 2015 (UTC)

Dissociative Identity Disorder

  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. (Dissociative Identity Disorder was previously known as Multiple Personality Disorder, just so you all know.) To get the joke you have to visit the revision history, to see that the article was written largely by a single user who with every revision wrote about a different thing with a different style, sometimes reverting himself (and calling his own contributions vandalism). The idea wouldn't be bad, except for the fact that the reader has no clue what this is about, unless he randomly checks the page's history or talkpage. Also, none of the revisions are very well written, I find. Finally, (albeit it's of a minor concern compared to the rest), the disorder isn't portrayed particularly well. The article does the theme of the annoyed fan bitching about the worst film of the hexilogy (?) but I think it actually works well in this and in a very David Mitchell way, pointing out the obvious whilst sounding incredibly irritated can work if done correctly.
