- Removing the first heading is a good idea, I did so per your idea. I think it should have the notoc code, because without it it has this huge template and seems to disrupt the flow of the page. Check it out and see if it feels overloads with the Table of Contents compared to without the table. And SPIKE suggested that this be featured in December, but I have an idea. Since SPIKE is working on Kwanzaa/Classic and making it into something very worthwhile, that one could go on the feature block nearer the holiday and it would be funny to throw this one into the feature que in May! - I had that first heading up there for a reason: it starts the conversation. If it's missing, it isn't clear that a conversation is going on, at first. It just looks like a rant, and the {{title}} thing only works if you have javascript turned on. 12.73.189.4 01:10, May 21, 2012 (UTC)
- An alternative to _NOTOC_ is to make all headings but the first one
;unnumbered. Repeating my comment on VFD that Kwanzaa/Classic ultimately wants to be in mainspace and this article wants to be somewhere else; and on my talk page that featuring Kwanzaa in May will be inscrutable to everyone but giggly Aleister. Admins should warehouse both versions for possible use in December; they won't go stale. I had removed the final illustration, not just because a pictorial stereotype is blunter than the rest of the page, but because it's not from our multimedia but from an external site; however, it has returned Spıke Ѧ 11:24 22-May-12
