I can understand to a degree that improving the wiki implies deleting articles that are not very good. But it seems to me that the deletion of articles that could prove to be the new reader's aim when coming on this site has gotten out of hand. For example, Stephen Harper and Formula One are now gone. It seems to me that these articles could be the primary search of a new reader, and that an average article is better than none at all. Those new readers will just flee the site when they see there are no articles pertaining to their interest, and I am utterly convinced an average article is better than none at all since this new user will likely click on links on said article (assuming it exists) and read on. Do I have to remind that we are hosted freely (as in 0$) and we don't need that kind of mindless huffing? My greatest argument is here: here are our traffic stats. Stop being negative. Please go back on that graph to see how we are doing just fine. Here it is Just go back to 2009 and you'll see we are steadily growing! Talk Mattsnow 22:27, March 1, 2012 (UTC)

...ever since we started this deleting madness! And a great article is better than no article is better than a shitty one, so go write one now! --Littleboyonly.jpg TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Oldmanonly.jpg 03:22, March 2, 2012 (UTC)
It does sort of bother me that every single thing I've ever written is now a horrific bleeding mess of red ink. In general, I support deletion of things that aren't funny, but like Mattsnow, I'm starting to wonder if the focus on deletion has gone far enough and whether we shouldn't be putting more effort into creation for a while. (Not that I've written anything in months, so, well, never mind: I suck cocks). Tinymasaru.gifpillow talk 00:24, March 3, 2012 (UTC)
Horace does suck cocks, and we are all the better for it! Well, people are trying to delete awards now on VFD (huh?). The delete people have done their job - thousands and thousands and thousands of pages and thousands and thousands of pics are gone. Enough is too much. As for all the fix tags, last week I came across UN:10COM, a set of rules for fixing tags which are very relevant to the discussion. Aleister 00:35 3-3-'12
Just to chip in on this issue - I don't like that we delete stuff in the ways we are doing and for the reasons given.--Sycamore (Talk) 18:40, March 3, 2012 (UTC)
I agree with everyone here except Sycamore because my grandfather was killed by a sycamore tree. --Hotadmin4u69 [TALK] 19:18 Mar 3 2012
I think it's high time I wrote the Deletionist's Manifesto, because the fucking stupidity I see on this site on a near-daily basis is finally getting to me.  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  SU&W) 19:20 Mar 03, 2012
I say they who delete rewrite. If you manage to get an article removed, you should have to write up a new one that is actually better to replace it with. Unless the former article was something so stupid, no one would stumble across it unless they tripped over their keyboard. ◄► Tephra ◄► 05:54, March 4, 2012 (UTC)

I agree.

From Mattsnow's comments, I certainly agree that we should stop the deleting madness. GiratinaOriginForme.png |Si Plebius Dato' (Sir) Joe ang Aussie CUN|IC Kill Don't be fooled. I'm an Aussie too. | 09:19, March 4, 2012 (UTC)
