Specifically, to move this to replace this. I can't do it myself. I have it in Pee Review and I was kind of waiting for that, but that's something of a void these days, it appears. And I do realize, if I have a problem with the lack of reviewing going on I have the power to fill that void myself. I just want to get this one delivered. The idea is to use this to be to go-to astrology page, and redirect the myriad related articles out there to here. Can I get a witness? --AKA The Pretentious Testicle GlobalTourniquetUnAstrologer, UnJournalist, shameless narcissistic America-hating liberal atheist award-winning featured writer 18:11, August 16, 2012 (UTC)

I left a message regarding this on your talk page. Cheers!--Funnybony Icons-flag-th.png Agnideva-small.jpg AGT-logo-small.jpg 18:59, Aug 16
I think to remove the existing article it would have to be put through VFD with a message suggesting your article replace it. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 10:17, August 17, 2012 (UTC)
Merging them is also good too. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) Proudly bogan 10:22, August 17, 2012 (UTC)
I did it. I'd also like to discontinue the practice of "approving" rewrites via VFD. --Littleboyonly.jpg TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Oldmanonly.jpg 22:08, August 17, 2012 (UTC)
A rewrite is not the same as several articles dealing with similar topics. Again it feels again that we as a community drift ever further into the realms of zero respect for other peoples work and this little episode demonstrates it perfectly. What makes these actions so frustrating is that the same characters often turn up to complain about user decline. Maybe looking over issue of respecting the work of other contributers is a more pressing priority than trying to 'improve the quality' of Uncyclopedia (of all places). Recently a contributer made a 'token' nomination on VFD and another boasted on the IRC about nominating countless articles on VFD whilst bemoaning that only one of his articles had survived and was making no efforts to change this. The mentality of many contributers on here is completely out of whack and outside of any objective of humor or having fun.--Sycamore (Talk) 19:53, August 18, 2012 (UTC)
In TKF's defense, all he did, and all this forum topic is about really, is replace the Astrology article with the rewrite I did in my user space. The rest of it where the other articles were redirected was all my doing alone. I acted alone, and I take full responsibility. It was my plan all along when I started the rewrite, I incorporated a lot of good stuff from the other articles (the finding of which in some was difficult to do), and I still actually think it's a good idea. I know we vote on stuff, but I find it sometimes better to just do it and see if anyone who cares reverts. I certainly won't re-revert, but if someone else thinks doing that (redirecting all related articles to this article) will improve our Astrology story, it would be cool to discuss. --AKA The Pretentious Testicle GlobalTourniquetUnAstrologer, UnJournalist, shameless narcissistic America-hating liberal atheist award-winning featured writer 20:51, August 18, 2012 (UTC)
When I've rewritten pages, I've gone on the appropriate page's talkpage and asked if anyone minded if I overwrote the existing page with my version (which I link to). Give it a month and if no one minds, no one cares, and you're good to go. If someone does care and doesn't like your version, well then you have to take them out back and kill...kiss them, stabbing them repeatedly with your blade...fresh cookies. Fresh gingerbread cookies. VFD is certainly not the place for a process as this, then, if we're talking about respecting other's works. Nothing implies worse faith than taking an article to a deletion-space when a courteous request on the talk page would do, as per Modus. --Littleboyonly.jpg TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK Oldmanonly.jpg 19:20, August 19, 2012 (UTC)
