  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Another page from this misguided project. Uncyclopedia is a wiki and anyone is welcome to edit anything. If they ought not to, such as Featured Articles or pages transcluded hundreds of times, we use MediaWiki page protection. A template with which author tells editor his page is in too fine a shape for the latter's edits does not belong here. Also delete Uncyclopedia:Protected page guidelines. Spıke 🎙️20:28 19-May-21
  2. Symbol Burninate vote.png Burninate!  Few things stand the test of time; Shelley's Ozymandias if anyone's familiar. To wax philosophical here: might the bad ignore the message and the good be driven away? On a lighter note: we could just reclassify Uncyclopedia:Protected page guidelines as a joke like UN:ABF. It's in the same vein as metawikimedia:The Wrong Version, albeit less developed. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 21:28, 19 May 2021 (UTC)
The unphilosophical concur: Conscientions editors will demur and churls will take it as a dare. On your lighter note, I'm with Mnbvcxz: "Don't crack wise" with the nav tools [or with the "guidelines"]; stuff that purports to guide editors ought not to prank them. Spıke 🎙️ 01:02 20-May-21

  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. This place exists and now no longer a Jesuit college. Suggest it isn't noteworthy enough to have an artice about it. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 20:24, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
  2. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. One solid inside joke. The Wheeling Jesuit pages were the archetypal "schoolcruft." I don't doubt that all of the principals have moved on (from Wheeling and from Uncyclopedia). Spıke 🎙️03:11 5-Jun-21

  2. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. A single edit by Anon in 2018. Surprise, there was no such match, and if you try to Google the match, the first result you get is this page. Qualifies for administrative deletion under UN:VAIN. Spıke 🎙️11:12 11-Jun-21

  1. Symbol keep vote.svg Keep and rename. I've been thinking about changing Category:Ignorable policies for a while now: the ban policy, the cyberbullying policy and the civility policy should carry more weight than don't eat waffles here. The category up for deletion appears to be an attempt to do that. I propose we rename it Category:Policies and use a switch statement within {{Policy}} to sort pages into the category with code like {{Policy|serious=yes}}. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 09:48, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
  2. Symbol keep vote.svg Keep and rename. This solution works. On serious, CoW is in a gray area; it's serious guidance, but if you don't follow my Choice of Words, nothing bad happens. Spıke 🎙️11:15 11-Jun-21

  • Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. What is this? other than a subplot of the recently-mainspaced Machu Picchu? Says it is a lie, and the main comedy strategy is "This doesn't really exist!" Spıke 🎙️14:19 13-Jun-21

  1. Symbol keep vote.svg Keep. The article's intended audience is videogamers, and it's well done — provided the reader is familiar with the game in question. It's categorized incorrectly and doesn't explain what it's really getting at though. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 23:55, 13 June 2021 (UTC)
Very well. I'd like it if articles were self-evident, but at least this is deliberate humor. How do you know so much, about so much? Spıke 🎙️03:27 14-Jun-21
It's what I do: I drink and I know things. Seriously though, didn't mean to sound elitist; I have friends who play videogames and talk about them all the time. I've absorbed some pop culture and gamer culture from them, played some games myself; and the rest I've picked up reading and studying a variety of topics for leisure. I'm an intellectual. In school the teachers either loved me or hated me, because my hand would go up a lot. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 04:34, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

  • It's not spam or anything to do with Machu Picchu, but videogame humor: a creative portrayal of the game Portal, foreshadowing the events of the game through the in-universe perspective of (an advertisement from) Aperture Science Laboratories. The references to "cake" and "psychopathic AI" are jokes, and "this article is a lie" is itself a joke, because Portal's best-known utterance is "The cake is a lie". There are plenty of smaller references, like "we will be GLaD to", which is an allusion to GLaDOS. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 23:55, 13 June 2021 (UTC)

Template:Coord

  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete it and its many sub-templates. Unless someone else finds it useful. It produces geographic coordinates like 57°18′22.5″N 4°27′32.7″W / 57.30625°N 4.459083°W for articles, but nothing in mainspace uses it. A few userspace drafts adapted from Wikipedia do, because Wikipedia uses it. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 09:52, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
  2. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete all. Brought over by MadMax nine years ago and never used. (There are several templates that optionally call it; do they never do so?) Our mandate to superficially resemble Wikipedia, if carried to the extreme of producing a large chaw of numbers as shown above, will make readers pause to consider whether the numbers are funny or not; and geographic coordinates are usually not funny, even if incorrect. Spıke 🎙️10:12 19-Jun-21

  • I'm willing to do the "unhooking" and deleting if we decide to scrap it. It has many subroutines and related pages, not all of which are subpages that show up in WhatLinksHere. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 09:52, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
  • As it says, it emits the Geo microformat. This might be of value, possibly as an invisible template so it doesn't add noise. The link to GeoHack provides interesting information but claims it has to do with a Wikipedia page of the same name, which is misleading for other wikis. ❦ Llwy-ar-lawr talkcontribs • 17:42 22 June 2021
    • I disagree that this likely has value to us, though. The geo microformat is used to integrate coordinates with a GPS, or a mapping service such as Google Maps. In the case of User:Spamabannana/Boyds, Maryland, the emitted coordinates allow visiting a map of Boyds, Maryland, which is not particularly useful. If we make a habit of adding coordinates to places, what should fictitious places do? If Narnia displays 55°45′21″N 37°37′2″E, following the link would reveal we stole the coordinates for Moscow, Russia. The only practical use I could imagine would be a Lua-based composite location map with a location mark positioned at the coordinates. The Wikipedia map for Pleasant uses a generic map of Indiana with the location marker programmatically overlaid. I think we'd be more likely to simply upload that as a composite image. 3. Symbol keep vote.svg Keep. Broken English with sexual leanings. Self-identified kinks start out by learning to laugh at themselves, while also embracing what they like. So long as it doesn't go as overboard as Petticoating did with sexual descriptions (please no more external links to chastity belts!), I think it's worth keeping. I've uploaded two silly images that might help. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 23:52, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
But I copy-edited the article and the broken English is gone. It was not just quaintly foreign but downright inept. ("Black tights are slightly more popular than white tights so black tights may be more favoured than white tights.") Spıke 🎙️23:57 25-Jun-21

Chris Chan

  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. This underdog Internet personality made Sonichu (a creative amalgam of Sonic and Pikachu), and starred in a few things fairly recently that the article doesn't cover. She's trolled a lot on the Internet – including cyberbullying on Uncyclopedia – and I feel bad for her. However, that doesn't automatically make her notable (Wikipedia has no page on her), nor the page funny (Christian Weston Chandler was better-written and still got viffed here). Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 03:14, 29 June 2021 (UTC)

  • Born Christian Weston Chandler, transitioned to female as Christine Weston Chandler. "Chris Chan" is a nickname.
  • Cyberbullying on Uncyclopedia: she was doxxed in 2010: her name, address, and phone number were pasted into an article with encouragement for readers to call and harass Chris Chan themselves. It was deleted promptly and the offender was permabanned. Dark Web, White Hat (talk) 03:14, 29 June 2021 (UTC)
