I actually found this a very fun read, as the carefully-constructed Engrish is spot-on and very reminiscent of the poorly-translated product slogans one might find funny pictures of online. The Chinese text is a nice touch as well. Maybe the topic is not one people will search for, but this was very well-written and it would be unfortunate to see it deleted.     PS--Having read it slowly, I doubt it and reassert my vote to delete it. This saga of performance art where the "encyclopedia article writer" can't write because he is irritated by the dog and despondent over the loss of his wife (before he killed her) amused the author, and might shock but will not amuse the reader.     I don't agree. The rant almost works, and the "comedy of surprise" element is there. But the replacement is better. This could be moved to Great Dane with minor tweaking and still work though. The previous edit was by PuppyOnTheRadio (Talk). 22:13, May 4, 2016 (UTC)

I'd never heard of "Super Skye" any more than anyone else on the site, but when I stumbled across this strange article I found it oddly hilarious and spent a lot of time fixing it up. Maybe that's just me, but in my eyes that's a testament against the argument that this has zero audience and no redeeming value. I understand UC's policies about avoiding obscurity but I don't think the article itself is junk. I'd get rid of the quotes, but in my humble opinion, though other Super Skye pages and the category (didn't know they existed, lol) should probably get wiped, this one deserves to stay the most.   • That Wikia Wiki, also created by Luigispetpikmin, has 65 pages and states that it is to "spread information about the cancelled game SuperSkye....circa 2002....and all related media....we need all the help we can get" Some of his articles here are not terrible (though all have a whiff of Fanboy), but I am on the edge of deleting them all administratively, plus the Category:SuperSkye, on the basis that they are a personal story arc written to advertise another website rather than amuse the reader. I suppose he could be a an extreme Christian like Doug Tennaple but I think there's a reason there are no longer pages for Ender's Game or Orson Scott Card; and is also mentioned at in aforementioned beginners guide as hard to do. Uncyclo-tan [before VFD was in Uncyclopedia: namespace]

  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Move. I don't seek your votes to delete this article but to rename it, as it has been in the current location for seven years. It is a decent article, despite the navelism, blurring anime and Uncyclopedia. But its prediction of an alternative website mascot to Sophia the potato was not self-fulfilling. There is nothing official about it and it does not belong in the Uncyclopedia: namespace. Spıke 🎙️23:53 8-May-16

If kinky Lois Lane and Superman actually drawn by Joel Shuster flies below the random readers radar, than a parody of Wikipedia's unofficial mascot is below ground, like roots of a potato. The background section is about as humorous as one of those anime about school girls it describes like, so kind of sort of not really; slightly more so if your Japanese and understand the cultural references. Mostly the laughter comes from dozens of pantie shots; the kind of laughter Prince was going for in Purple Rain; with the occasional use of hammer space and nose bleeds. Azumanga Daioh is like they somehow distilled the nothingness from Seinfeld; unlike say Ninja Nonsense or Excel Saga. The role section says the mascot personifies the admins; though I would prefer seeing Jimmy Wales head photo shopped onto Wikipi-tan's body to depict that. Also, a portmanteau of anime directors being paid in hot dogs by studio Ghibli isn't much different from interns being paid in peanuts and pennies by Huff Po to plagiarize, which was too cryptic so no one cared. Finally, the potato aside, it's mostly contemplating Uncyclope-tan and Wikipe-tan's navels for 80 images, which is an accurate reflection of the Wikipe-tan page and tans in general but kind of like funny lists that get way too long. In short, RIDDLE ME NOT; unless someone wants to make it about tans in general such as the featured article, Japanese TV series centered around battles where powerful creatures are summoned using some small object that usually has a real-life equivalent of these battles in the form of a game, except in real life, you don't actually get to summon any creatures I mean tans are funny in Hetalia the same way it it worked on that episode of Robot Chicken with Lil Hitler taking all the desks. I just read OS-tans and UnBooks:Jimbo's Love Life: The Story of Wikipe-tan; which satisfies my complaints, but I till say delete cause there's not much here. Also not particularly good for Uncyclopedias image that Ae-tan dresses much more like Oscar Wilde. Irritable of contents (talk) 22:20, May 9, 2016 (UTC)
