There has been a classification system for nerds for a very long time, it's just that the system is based on highly complicated processes, so it isn't known to many non-nerds. And unlike many other classification systems, if the person has the highest number it means they are the least nerdy, and if the person has the lowest number it means they are the most nerdy.
