Count Binface:That's it! That's it!! There is no punchline.

Count Binface is a British politician who dresses up as a rubbish bin, or as they say in America, a trashcan. He was formerly incarnated as Lord Buckethead until a copyright strike forced Binface to reincarnate as something visually different.

Strangely, for someone starting out as a joke, the ex-Lord Buckethead has become something of a political animal. He stood in the British election of 2019 as Count Binface against British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. His chief rival as a new Lord Buckethead also stood against Johnson, with the backing of the Monster Raving Loony Party (Britain's premier joke candidate party). Both lost, though Binface was disappointed to trail in behind his erstwhile enemy on an earth shattering 69 votes. Since then the Official Buckethead has faded from the political scene, leaving Binface to carry the crazy flag.

He is still around. Has a website which lays out all the past, fictional as well. Binface had to defend the use of his name as it sounded like he was mocking the jazz man Count Basie. He has since unmasked himself as a somewhat boring middle aged man who think he's funny and serious. Count Binface did stand in the election for London Mayor in 2021, garnering 24,775 votes in the process. Since the winner got over a million, that wasn't bad at all. Binface came in 9th out of a field of 20.

The future plans (electoral and otherwise) can be tracked on an active website and twitter account. The British tradition of strange electoral candidates and parties has been imitated and copied in some other countries. In the case of Canada they went too far and selected Justin Trudeau as the 'Liberal Party' leader there.

Count Binface will be active again. He just has to see off his sworn enemy Lord Buckethead for good.
