Comment[edit]
Any particular reason why arsist was changed to artist? Arsist is a deliberately obscure term pertaining to the arse or buttocks, i.e., a person who may collect/make love to/vote for/ arses. Other than that, thanks for the changes and spelling corrections.

("pepperoni" doesn't mean "peppers", it's a sort of "spicy sausage". this article really sucks but those who are getting mad about it are more asshole than those who have written it: this is the anglo-american version of nonciclopedia, piggod, what the fuck did you expect?? you assholes.) ladyGagarin.<---
New map[edit]
This is a map of the REAL italian empire, after they've defeated the French back in 2007. http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Image:Italian_empire.PNG --Oli4 16:33, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi! I think you should also include Greece, Malta, Libya, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia (WW2, you know...) and maybe more France ;-)
This article blows.[edit]

Sono italiano(I'm italian)[edit]
noi italiani non siamo tutti pizza mafia e mussolini,e come dire che tutti gli inglesi sono dei mollaccioni,il che non è vero, quindi basta con questo stereotipo (we Italians are not all pizza and mafia mussolini, and like saying that all the British are gay, which is not true, so enough with this stereotype).Hi from an utent of Nonciclopedia . --Znz3194
Ma guarda um po? Quando prendete in giro altre nazioni (su nonenciclopedia), per voi va bene. Quando gli altri scherzano su di voi, vi offendete, prendila alla legera... e solo una satira.
- Get a bloody grip and stop your whinging. Do you have a feather in your hat you big gay pussy? Fuck off.
- oh mio dio, si è offeso! coglionazzo, sei su uncy!--151.33.24.229 21:38, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- For God's sake THIS IS UNCYC!!! What else DID you expect? What do you think your fellow "utenti" have written about us? Just to show a few examples:
"Londra" with smoggy pictures-is this not stereotypical?
"Inghilterra"-not like anyone would pee into their cups in England. A rare sight.
"Regina Elisabetta"-according to your highly respected standard the British would be really mad.
"Regno Unito"-<sarcasm>oh ha ha ha, I'm laughing my head off.</sarcasm>
And please no swearing. Thanks.--Faizaguo 22:36, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

British empirer was more like the criminal empirer stole from other countries to obtain their wealth and treated people like crap in the process now they act like they are so noble. They are the reason why many countries hate Europeans.

An italian girl[edit]
I agree this is uncy and it's obvious everyone pulls everybody's leg...But only a clarification: in Italy 9,9% of the people are overweight, while in the USA 31%...did you know that ? (I hope I haven't done mistakes in the grammar :D)
....[edit]
I love uncyclopedia and I really enjoyed reading the page about Italy, but I prefered the italian version (in nonciclopedia) in this way we make fun of ourselves and it's not a big problem..but in this case I really don't like seeing the proof that Italy is so full of stereotypes.Of course it's just a way to have fun but please don't forget that we are not all equal, there are many different people and above all mafia, silvio berlusconi, fascism and "po po po po" are our biggest shame (especially silvio XD) Bye
- Yeah I agree the nonci version was much funnier.--Faizaguo 10:18, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
Beside other things... What the hell is a Stromboli????? And Focaccia is written like this.
- Stromboli is a volcano situated in Sicily(The big island in the bottom part of the country) and yes, Focaccia is written like this —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.49.19.44 (talk • contribs)
Question[edit]
Is the sentence at the beginning of the page intentional or not?
Ok, nevermind...a silly italian dickhead put some stupid sentences in this article (the ones in bold)...--87.18.79.98 18:48, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
I'm going to fucking murder you for removing that.

viva l' italia (italy...boh)[edit]
pagina bella, ma l' Italia sarà sempre superiore a voi inglesi (em... good pig)
From Roma[edit]
Nice page, it's a different humor, i can't understand the international-american-british vision of the italians and their stereotypes, my vision of my country is different, obviously , but this incomprehension make this article so interesting for me. Escuse me for the eventual bad english.

Fantasic-a page!!! The Mierda/France language joke is something divine!!! By an italian--87.19.44.22 19:55, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Correction[edit]
I've corrected a thing in the speech of Captain Vecchio: we say "attacco", not "attacko". Besides this, this page is absolutely fantastic! You have done a perfect portrait of us Italians! Very good work! By an italian who likes very much this page --195.60.133.10 06:33, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Questo[edit]
Ok you all are a bunch of idiots. We Italians can make fun at ourselves but come on this was probably written by some ugly fat Limey with Italian penis envy. How can you call yourselves true Italians you cafones. Everyone else on the other sites stuck up for there heritage.
articolo fa cagare. W Nonciclopedia
- Ehi, i'm funcool88 in italian Nonciclopedia. I laughed so much on this article, so, don't do the italian XD --94.162.149.215 16:17, September 7, 2009 (UTC)
This article isn't that bad[edit]
I'm italian but since we're on uncy it doesn't bother me that much. It's true, stereotypes are common on uncy, but is it really necessary to joke on things like people who died during the WW2 ? We don't suck at fighting, we've had some of the best heroes during the war and i don't think it's really nice to joke on people who proved their courage in battle :E. It's easy to defeat someone driving a can if you're safe in a mighty armored battletank. I don't think i take it too seriously, we're talking about WORTHY dead people.
Oh and , spanish != italian, whoever contributes to this article, please research on that
Pizza's mafia agent[edit]
I'm italian but this article... it's fantastic!--

IRONY??[edit]
hello guys!! I'm a little disappointed..this article is just a bunch of the same old stereotypes about italy and italian people!! a little less stereotypes a little more irony, baby!! I mean, this is uncyclopedia..you can do better!! be more imaginative and creative, please!! you are predictable!! Cate.
Map[edit]
We should change the map with something more similar to the boot. --AnotherD++ 20:47, January 23, 2010 (UTC)

grrr... i'm an italian girl.... but i love this page..
I'm italian (sorry for mistakes) and I think it's very funny ^^ Italian people can't do this page better XD
Nice but...[edit]
...hi guys!
The article is enough funny (and more funny it is the discussion page, thanks to a lot of rednecks from Italy with no much sense of sarcasm! :-D )
Just...the italian flag with the word MUSSOLINI and FASCISM and so on...it was more funny time ago, more connected to fashion (I think it was the word GUCCI and so on)...don't you think? Italy, fascism bla blab...too much sterotypes.........italian obsession (above all here in Milano) with fashion is more original!
Cheers from an italian escaping soon from this country and Berlusconi rule!!!
- Wow, your english really sucks. Talk about realistic stereotypes.--AnotherD++ 16:16, April 20, 2010 (UTC)
Say thanks to God because you did find an italian speaking english!!! :-D
Northern Italian[edit]
Hi! Nice article!!! For celebrate it we will execute 300 American Assholes (and we will strafe your wives, your sons, your parents and your dog)!!! U.S.A. Rulez!!!
Bad changes[edit]
First escuse me for the bad english.
Too much repetitive about fascism, all the first part is monopolize by the irony on the fascists blablabla, i say because too much is not funny and ofensive, return to Gucci Pizza Mafia.
Oh and WTF the Swastika?????? It was the sign of nazist and not fascist, ignorant people can not write articles.
I agree, it was more funny before...
HOLY SHIT.[edit]
There are more stereotypes on this page than any other Uncyclopedia page!
...[edit]
I intrude me. Dear Uncyclopedians, we did not. You say that Italians are only pizza, mafia and Berlusconi, and you remember us that in the past we had an hairless fascist as dictator. Uncyclopedia (like Nonciclopedia, her Italian version) is the free-thinking and satire's site, but it isn't the site of the racism and national discrimination. That's true, we have a shit-like Prime Minister, but I'm sure that we'll offend you Englishmen if we says that you're gay, that you're dirty and stinky, that your kitchen is the worst in the world? Some moderation, please.
Sorry for my English not that perfect.
Great job![edit]
I'm italian, and I liked this page. Even if it is a little stereotyped... okay, I was joking,it's very funny. Also, the "Republic of the Original Pizzeria" made me laugh a lot!I can't really stop laughing! Great job(again!)!
Suggestions[edit]
I suggest to insert some interesting facts written on the italian page of this article: maybe I would do a translation of them. They explain so much well about the actual condition of the country, with Mario Monti leadership, internal contrast between capitalist northern and anarchist mafious southern territories, WoW-admiring nerds/viking transvested Lega Nord separatist movement. It also give a very much important sociological spectrum of the country nowadays about some interesting facts which on foreign countries are not so much known (not only the football worship, but also the television slavery, the "qualunquism" (a typical italian socio-political phenomenon which fuses a populistic approach which a general ignorant way of life; the "cabaret politics"; the Catholic Church masonry; the illegal immigration; the neofascistic movements; the "importation" of South American sex workers, and a lot more). I noticed that a section about Silvio Berlusconi's adventures are not mentioned here and I'll sure that talking about these topics here would be a very bright idea. These are only suggestions.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by HailTheMelon (talk • contribs)
- Right, right, wonderful and all. My personal policy is to refrain from adding too much material to a featured article, unless it has decayed since it was featured, or I am absolutely certain that my additions will fit the tone of the article and won't make it a chore to read. If you think you can shoehorn that stuff in there while maintaining the article's flippant tone, then feel free to knock yourself out when you get autoconfirmed. (It is a wiki, after all.) You might ask the original author first, though, as he is big and ugly and has big gnarled fists, and fucks puppies, and worst of all, he smells bad. Most of us don't cross him (by which I mean "fuck with his articles"), and so he lets us keep our appendages. (Except for Zombiebaron, and, really, his would've just fallen off on their own, anyway.) ~ Sun, Oct 28 '12 10:48 (UTC)
- LOL I don't think there's someone to ask it for permissions. Wikis are on GNU general license so articles are free to be edited, spreaded and translated, as I remember. I think additions will surely fit the tone, and even if they won't, anyone can be free to edit them. (It is a wiki, after all.) I can translate the information on the italian page of this article and I can send them to him for an approvation. Knocked out? IDGAF User:HailTheMelon
- What we have here...is a failure...to commun'cate. ~ Thu, Nov 1 '12 4:53 (UTC)
- Signore Melon. The articles on Uncyclopedia are free to translate but here we operate a 'no mucking about with featured articles' when it comes to adding/altering them UNLESS there is some glaring grammatical/spelling error which is not part of the joke. If you want to write a better article, you can start in a sub page and then when ready, propose to replace the one that is in the space with your own. However, at this is a featured article, that is unlikely to happen but you can always create a forum for further discussion. --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:27, December 7, 2012 (UTC)

"It was hard to drag dad out of the drawing room, unless you asked him to attend a sporting event, but even then he spent most of his time looking at the athletes shoes instead of the game, Horst would say. Introducing new products is what makes a company stand out. However, it is more than just introducing a new product, it is introducing a better product.
Often we assume that, when we say "good job, little Billy knows to what we are referring. Billy might not have a clue. For example, if you exclaim "Wonderful job, to Billy after he finishes a soccer game, how is he to know what you are talking about? Is it because he tried hard? Is it because he demonstrated good sportsmanship by helping an injured player? Is it because he passed the ball a lot to his teammates? If you are praising Billy in hopes that it encourages him to do more of that action in the next game, he needs to know what you mean
- Don't know what you're smoking but that contribution has no relation to this talk page. Don't do that again eh? --RomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:31, December 7, 2012 (UTC)
Irony?[edit]
...Anyone? Where the fuck is the irony in this page? It's just lame and boring, come on, add some news on it.
P.S: I'm Italian.
Edit: I can understand the gypsies, the Pastafrianism, the pizza... but what after? Fascism? DEMOCRACY?! Modern Art? Pinocchio?? pff.. all of this is just old and boring, and also nonsense. Go read our own page on our country (Italy), and you will see that this is nothing, in front of what are our real problems and defects: actual and old.
Also if it is a featured article...[edit]
