Forum:Blanked articles
Some tosser has blanked five articles!
All blanked. Every single one. Just...blank. Nothing. Gone.
Have we encountered him before? Or is he just some vandal with no life who felt like p*ssing us off? In any case, he should be blocked. Atomik Spongeface • Ⓣ Ⓒ 18:12, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- The second one. Thanks for the heads up, but next time it'd probably make more sense if you used Uncyclopedia:Ban Patrol. Anyway, the articles are back, and he's blocked now. t o m p k i n s blah. ﺞوﻦ וףה ՃՄ ண்ஸ ފއހ วอฏม +տ trade websites 18:14, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- Ah right. OK, I'll use ban patrol in the future. Sorry, still a bit new here. Atomik Spongeface • Ⓣ Ⓒ 18:31, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
What? Just blanked them? That sucks, he shoul've at least replaced them with "Theodore Xiang-Chung iz the gayest eva" or something. Mr. Briggs Inc. 18:17, 15 January 2007 (UTC) Eh?
I wonder if people are taking advice from a certain HowTo article? They had better not though or I will hunt them down and kill them --KWild 12:54, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
== Revert them back ==
You can also do it all yourself.
Step one: revert back the articles
To do this you:
- Go to History
- Select compare between the new version and the one you want to revert back to.
- Click edit on the one you want (Left side)
- It will say: "WARNING: You are editing an out-of-date revision of this page. If you save it, any changes made since this revision will be lost."
- Press ctrl + A inside the edit area to highlight all text.
- Copy it (ctrl + C)
- Go to current version and press edit
- Paste it (ctrl + v)
- Summerise it as "revert" or "rv"
You have now reverted the article!
Step Two: Report it to Ban patrol
- Follow the instructions there.
Step three: Reward yourself with some choclote or a cookie.

WRONG
These are the steps:
1) In history find a revision you want to revert to
2) Hit [edit]
3) In the summary of the edit type [revert] or something to that effect.
4) Hit save ON THE OLD EDIT.
5) You can also get a fancy .js that will make this all one step. --Brigadier General Sir Zombiebaron 13:27, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
