Forum:A present from the admins for 2012
My brothers, how are you? Did you have a nice time with your family this holiday? Drunken uncle said a joke that offended everyone? Drank 12 bottles of champagne and finished in jail? Caught up on your japanese porn comics?
Anyways, a little birdy told me that the admins where planning on dropping their draconian byzantine machevelian practice of having more votes than users...especially on VFS. This is a really lovely idea and I think as a user base, we should support them in this bold decision. Im not sure which admin leaked this out, but you can be sure that whichever admin it was, was a proud brother of the uncyclopedia collective. Lets all join hands in harmony and equality and over look the white lie in this forum I started.
2012 !!! The year of equality, fraternity and the Scandanavian dream. --ShabiDOO 04:59, January 2, 2012 (UTC)
- Yes. We're going to drop down to 1 vote and ban you plebs from voting altogether -- Prof. Olipro KUN (W)Anchor Op Bur. (Harass) 05:27, January 2, 2012 (UTC)

THIS AWARD WILL DO WONDERS for destroying the myth of the cabal ... which we all know doesnt exist ... except those places where it does exist ;) --ShabiDOO 07:06, January 6, 2012 (UTC)

- My beloved Frosty...don't you get it...making random and improvised decisions seem totally logical and the only solution is the job of Admins :) So...bascially I've just done what they have taught me to do :) LET FREEDOM AND ENDIVE SALADS REIGN!!!!!!!!! --ShabiDOO 07:14, January 6, 2012 (UTC)

- Against What's with this obsession with being an Admin? It worked a lot better when it was admins choosing admins. mAttlobster. (hello) 14:18, January 6, 2012 (UTC)
- Abstain. I'm not sure what the big deal is. 16:27, 6 January 2012
- UnAbstain I don't even know what the page is about. Like the chimps though. Aleister 16:53 6-1-'12
- The big deal socky is...when the community as a whole chooses a user who will have the power to block us, delete our articles and make arbitrary decisions...it would make a lot more sense that the entire userbase would fully participate in that decision. As of now...users can only nominate them and then send a couple users to the final round and watch a group of admins decide who they will invite to share their control with. Its a very stinky process. If it isnt a big deal socky, then theres no particular reason to keep the whole admins make the final decision nonsense anyways. --ShabiDOO 03:26, January 8, 2012 (UTC)
- It's just a safeguard that obviously doesn't work anyway given that a useless user like myself got through it. But why does it matter since ultimately admins and users have always agreed on who gets opped? --Black Flamingo 13:57, January 9, 2012 (UTC)
- This is the second time someone has said why does it matter. Indeed...I say...why on earth should we keep this rule at all if it doesnt matter to everyone. The only other place this happens is on wikipedia...and I thoguht we were parodying them...not copying them. That being said...Im not sure where you get this idea as to how users and admins agreed on anything as the admins have 2 votes in the first round and the only votes in the second round. Its impossible to corralate the voters intentions. --ShabiDOO 17:23, January 9, 2012 (UTC)

- Abstain. Because I have no idea what we're voting for. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 05:23, January 8, 2012 (UTC)
We aren't voting for anything. We are celebrating the most amazing thing in the history of forever. A group of people voluntarily sharing their own power! HURRAH!!! --ShabiDOO 07:11, January 9, 2012 (UTC)
