British film industry

If anyone has any leftover images for Worst 100 Movies, preferrably featuring Hugh Grant, Brian Blessed or Ken Branagh, I can find them a good home --86.133.60.49 13:11, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)

How's this one grab ya? --RadicalX 19:31, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)

I am engorged with pleasure. Thank you.

Starship Troopers

A Starship Troopers Propaganda Poster.
Rico gets some recruits!

I need several propaganda images for Starship Troopers, with lots of subtle anti-fascist and subversive elements in it. --Nytrospawn 22:38, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Just for you, Nytrospawn! --RadicalX 16:56, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Plus another you didn't ask for, but I think it fits the article. --RadicalX 20:20, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Kjetil Valen and the Actionscripters

This might be a bit much to ask, so just ignore or delete this if it turns out to be. I need a picture of a band playing a Kitten Huffing Victims Relief concert, with that guy from the corn pops commercial and Kanye West in the background. In the band should be a norweigian man as the lead singer,a kind of Cyborg-like Colin Powell on the sax (it would be cool if he had weapons augmented on him like rocket launchers), a Jamaican man on lead guitar, and a package of pledge wipes playing the drums. As I iterated before, this is quite a bit to ask for, so any poor photoshopping and cheeziness is perfectly acceptable. If anyone could even attempt this gargantuan task, you would most definetly have a plaque hanging in my house declaring your awesomeness.

--Kyle1 02:29, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Huff-aid.jpg
How is this? I didn't know what person you meant from "corn pops", and the rest I had to guess on. I can change it more if you need (or if you find a better stage pic I can put those people in, I had to shrink them quite a bit for this one). --Splaka 05:57, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Huff-Aid? Brilliant! You, Splaka, are officially my hero. --Kyle1 21:34, 26 Sep 2005 (UTC)

The League of Extraordinary People

The League of Extraordinary People.

This article needs either a group photo of the League, or an illustration of one of their dubious battles. I'd do these myself, but since there are 27 members and I'm stuck with MS Paint, I'm kinda shying away from the job. --Jordanus 02:17, 25 Sep 2005 (UTC)

The League has toooo many members! But...all of them are there. Don't ever ask me to do that again! =P --RadicalX 04:09, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

The awesomeness quotient of this photo is so high, I'd need at least two frustratingly complex quadratic equations to express it. You're a genius! --Jordanus 04:43, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Awesome job RadX. I was cringing at this one sitting here in RP for a long while. ^_^ --Splaka 07:42, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Thanks, guys! I've been absent for the past few months, and I figure it's time for me to get back into it. I consider the work I did for this image to be a pennance of sorts..hehe --RadicalX 16:47, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

New Australian Flag

Can anybody help me out with a picture of a new Australian Flag? I was thinking something along the lines of a bum with a fist sticking out of it, a la the suggestion on the Best Bits of the Late Show video. --JiminOz 22 Sep 05 1830hrs

Reconciliation Flag (1995 Australian Flag Proposal).svg

How that? --Splaka 09:08, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Just brilliant. Thank you.

Battle of Microsoft

Alright, here's the deal. I need a picture of A civil war style battle between Apple and Microsoft Assuming Apple is the Union and Microsoft is the Confederacy. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I "made" a sample pic to illustrate what I am requesting. If anyone could do this, you would recieve my eternal gratitude.

A sample I botched in MS Paint. The keyword is botched.

--Kyle1 17:22, 14 Sep 2005 (UTC)

A scene from the Battle of Microsoft.

How's this? --RadicalX 19:56, 20 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Amazing. Thanks a lot. --Kyle1 18:46, 20 Sep 2005 (EDT)

UnNews:God Admits Responsibility For Hurricane Katrina

I'd like an image of God looking hungover and remorseful at a Presidential-style press conference. I'm just too lazy to do it myself at the moment. -- -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 12:17, 6 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Cooking with Poop for Dummies

Could someone please create an picture of the bookcover for the following publication: Cooking with Poop for Dummies by By Susan Feniger written by Susan Feniger, Mary Sue Milliken, and Helene Siegel, from Wiley Publishing, Inc.

The ideal thing would be if someone could take the front cover of the book Cooking With Spices for Dummies and adapt it somehow. I think Amazon has a pretty large photo of the cover.

as referenced in these articles:

Thanks!! --Pam Johnsenson 22:13, 4 Sep 2005 (UTC)

How is this? --Splaka 23:19, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Man. That's awesome!!! - You are my hero. Thanks.

BTW: The ratemypoo.com note is a nice touch --Pam Johnsenson 04:03, 8 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Cheers. Lemme know if you need other variations. --Splaka 21:21, 8 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Wright Brothers

If someone with Photoshop ski11z - pardon me, I mean skills - feels up to it, I'd like a picture of a building/plane hybrid to go with this article. --Cap'n Ben CUN 13:05, 4 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Haha... What a plane.--Spintherism 06:34, 5 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Belgrade Cleansers

Team logo, plus Slobo w/ cap. See talk page. --OneTopJob6 04:37, 31 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Logo is done. It is Slobo-rific. I placed it on the web page. Hope you like it. Not sure if this is what you had in mind. Slobo in a cap will have to wait. --KP CUN 04:57, 3 Sep 2005 (UTC)

The Gruesome Book of Grues

I just wrote an article about Grues, but I'm too darn lazy to find a picture. I was considering a photo of a book titled "101 Ways to Cook a Human", but I'm not sure where to start looking. Any other ideas are welcome. --Professor Dumbles 13:43 PST, 28 Aug 2005 (Who here honestly knows UTC time?)

What do you mean knows UTC time? You just have to know your own time and some pretty advanced arithmetic. --Spintherism 21:35, 28 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Run away! It’s a grue!

How about this? From the original Zork manual! --KP CUN 21:38, 28 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Here you go:

101 Ways to Cook a Human, by G. Rue

Pirates of the Caribbean

Here is a challenge. I need a picture of a large number of pirate demonstrators. They should be carrying signs or be engaged in a sit-in. Read the article for more context. Another useful picture would be a pirate terrorist being arrested and placed into police custody. That picture is for the sister article, Pirate Liberation Organization. --KP CUN 16:19, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Commented out dialog and pictures, see this page).
Btw, maybe you should make a page like KP/DisneyImages and move these there, leaving a redirectional note here. That way you could monitor the progress better (and remove already used ones faster). Jessathought. Splaka 22:32, 21 Aug 2005 (UTC)
O.K. Done. Look here. This Disney thing seems to have gotten everyone’s creative juices flowing. (Ick!) --KP CUN 22:52, 21 Aug 2005 (UTC)

I’ve updated the Disney images page. I have a couple of requests.

  • A black and white photo of cartoon students engaging in a violent protest. Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck cannot be in this photograph.

Perhaps have Huey, Louie, and Dewey fleeing from armed security forces on horses?

  • A photo of some mentally deranged cartoon characters. (You may be able to take just a regular movie or TV still without altering it.)
  • Black and white photo of deranged and lethal cartoon weapons surrounded by scientists.

Thank you!

--KP CUN 20:55, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Here's something for you. I wasn't sure where to put it on the Disney Image page, so I'll just leave it here and let somebody else deal with that.

Cool!

Cartoony weapons, sokay? (I like the color version better myself)Splaka 12:08, 25 Aug 2005 (UTC)

OK. I’m curious. What does the color version look like? --KP CUN 15:45, 25 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Zis!

That works for me! --KP CUN 07:39, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)

International Phonetic Alpha-Bits

I do believe this article would be substantially more pimpin' if it included a picture of a bowl of the cereal in question floating in milk, perhaps spelling out a message of some sort. It would help, of course, if the cereal was shaped like characters either from the actual IPA or from some other (humorously absurd) interpretation of it. Alas, the task must fall to someone with madder image editing skills than I. --UnholySauce 19:17, 18 Aug 2005 (UTC)

The gaping visual void in the page has been duly filled. Nice work. --UnholySauce 21:48, 18 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Heh. I didn't even see the request until just now. I just thought the page was a good candidate for an image. Great minds, etc. etc. --Rcmurphy KUN 22:11, 18 Aug 2005 (UTC)

List of weapons that don't exist, but should

I think these weapons would be funnier if there were corresponding images for some or all of them. --EvilZak 23:33, 4 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Size could matter Hey guys it would be nice if we make all the picture with the same size. I based mine on the DDR picture which was 300x193. whaddayathink?--Sunsneezer 17:27, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)

I added a picture for the acid balloon. Maybe I'll do some more later.Sunsneezer 03:16, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
The acid balloon

What about this one? --Spintherism 04:50, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Wear the acid of being thought vapors!

I think it's hilarious. --Sunsneezer 16:28, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Check this one out. Man I love procrastinating. --Sunsneezer 17:14, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)

That's just bizarre. I uploaded my picture ONE MINUTE before you uploaded yours. Yours is definitely better though. --Rcmurphy KUN 17:18, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Yeah I got an editing conflict. That's a good thing my picture is named armed_monkey'''s'''.jpg or a lot of awkward would have hapenned. Yours is not bad, but does not reflect the "army" part of the concept. I took the liberty of putting my picture in the article instead, if that's ok. From now on, I'll tell when I begin working on a request...--Sunsneezer 17:27, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
That's fine, mine found a home at Monkey. --Rcmurphy

Quantity over quality is the American way. --Spintherism 21:02, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)

That picture is imaginative! nice one. It will strech the layout quite a bit though...--Sunsneezer 21:12, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Maybe I'll add more to the text of the Feather of Death so it fills out better. --Spintherism 21:24, 9 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Here goes the Lance with a brick on the end. --Sunsneezer 02:38, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Brilliance and brilliosity, though I do believe that the brick is in the wrong place. That would have been the middle of the lance before it struck the shield and broke. --Spintherism 05:03, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Flattering to know you looked at my picture with that kind of attention. Here is an updated version of the thing. And I though I could get away with it...--Sunsneezer 05:38, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Could be better, but I must sleep.--Spintherism 07:18, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)

The spear is too small on the picture, so the rocket may look like feathers of something....--Sunsneezer 13:14,

10 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Also, here is my trick for olde writing: I use the text tool with the "Goudy Text" or similar font, then trace it with a flat diagonal brush to make it less perfect.--Sunsneezer 13:17, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)
The text is actually fine. That's more or less what it looks like on the rest of the tapestry, as can be seen on the left side. As for the spear looking like it has feathers, I just sort of gave up at that point. Maybe I'll fix it later.
Aaaaah! That's why the text on the left does't really make sense! Your test is fine then.for the spear maybe addind something like File:Propel.gif might make it clearer.--Sunsneezer 20:24, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)

I'm calling the bomb filled with knives--Sunsneezer 14:20, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)

like so:
It just occured to me that this picture needs an opened ACME box."BOMB - just add knives" to make the reference more obvious.--Sunsneezer 21:50, 10 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Sir Francis Bacon first had the idea of filling a bomb with knifes after observing coyotes doing so in the wild.

Added some, couldn't resist, couldn't stop:
