Charles Lindbergh[edit]

A resubmit of a rewrite I finished today, some of the differences include the new section on Germany as well as the bibliography at the end and a few extra jokes here and there. I think I was gonna get UU to review this one again for me, and odds are that he's going to whether I ask him to or not. ~Minitrue Sir SysRq! Talk! The man guesses right. I will take a look at this some time over the weekend. When I'm not out getting my ass kicked on a soccer field and the like. Hey, I can talk American! My mom will be so proud! --SirU.U.Esq. VFH | GUN | Natter | Uh oh | Pee 10:04, Feb 23

Good job, you just forgot to put "fuck" somewhere in that sentence. But other than that, you're looking pretty American right now. (And for the record, I do call it football, but just to confuse my friends.) ~Minitrue Sir SysRq! Talk! Sex! =/ GUNWotMRotMAotMVFHSKPEEINGHPBFF (@ 18:17 Feb 23)
Fuck yeah! Let's do this! --SirU.U.Esq. VFH | GUN | Natter | Uh oh | Pee 10:14, Feb 24
Humour: 9 Ah yes, a definite improvement. The extra section is a good one and a worthwhile addition, and some of the other tweaks really help it blossom. I think you took on board my last review and ran with it, as well as adding plenty of good new stuff, and I'm impressed by the results.
Concept: 9 The comments I made last time still hold true, I think.
Prose and formatting: 9 Well written, a good length, formatting's fine, no problems with spelling and so forth. One or two sentences felt a bit awkward, most notably "Despite the fact that Hauptmann was said to have worked alone when the ransom note left at the scene mentioned that there were several kidnappers, in a post-WWI America, the execution of any German was enough to satisfy the nosy public and allow them to all get back to their lives" - which I should have picked up on before. A small tweak there and you should be fine.
Images: 8 The same as last time, so the same score and comments stand.
Miscellaneous: 8.8 Averaged.
Final Score: 43.8 Well done, a significant improvement, and definitely one of the better biographical articles we have. I'm wrestling with myself over whether to nom it - not because I'm not sure it deserves it, because I think it does, but because my track record with noms is slightly less than stellar. Still, on balance, I really do like this, so I'll give it a go and see what happens!
