WASHINGTON, D.C., USA -- The official Republican Party received a military send off following the death of its soul last month. The original 'GOP' which was started by Abraham Lincoln in the 1850s finally rolled over and died.
The party's leader President Donald Trump celebrated the demise by a round of golf. Other Republican bigwigs threw dirt and discarded bottles on the coffin as it was lowered into the ground. Even the Republicans long time rival the Democrat Party shed a few tears to see an opponent buried, though a few were whistling 'Dixie'.
Trump's spokesperson Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that a new 'Republican Party' had emerged 'like a snake that had shed its old skin'. Except it would be called the 'MAGA Party' and merge with the Trump Organisation for 'tax reasons'.
The Republicans have had their day, said President Trump. My new America will be the biggest and the best you have ever seen. We'll start off by crushing Canada as an appertiser for China and the European Union.
