I think I may have brought this up with an admin before but nothing really happened. What are we to do about VFP? It is sitting dormant with occasional noms and votes each month but no admin taking responsibility for it or actually featuring any pictures. Do we either archive it and take it off the side-bar thus declaring it a dead thing or should we get it back up and running again? If it's a case of no one can be bothered/has time then I will willingly run it (although I may need permission to edit the page and the template page on the front). - I see no reason to discontinue it, it just needs someone to maintain it and of course voters + content. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 10:23, February 21, 2014 (UTC)
- Exactly my point. And yet no one is maintaining it currently. There are some really old votes still on there and none have been featured for at least a year and a bit. Sir ScottPat (converse) 10:25, February 21, 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for the alert ScottPat. I will have a look at it later. The templates business is an admin-level responsibility. Thanks also for reverting the vandal, got to him before I could nuke the vandalism in one go. --RomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 10:28, February 21, 2014 (UTC)
- No probs - Damn! Could have seen an explosion! Sir ScottPat (converse) 10:29, February 21, 2014 (UTC)
- There doesn't appear to be an archive page for the featured images. Some could do with retiring from the list so that they don't reappear after the page is re-freshed. --RomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 10:55, February 21, 2014 (UTC)
- Maybe you could make an archive page. If you ask me, the whole thing needs clearing out and re-organising. Sir ScottPat (converse) 11:01, February 21, 2014 (UTC)
- I know you're probably taking a rest at the moment but one thing that desperately needs doing is the removal of all the VFP articles that date back to beyond the last three months on the nomination page and either archive them or put them in the feature queue. - Isn't there something about VFP failed nominations? Anton (talk) 11:22, February 24, 2014 (UTC)
- This forum has always been semi active. Doesn't hurt to keep it. You never know when a supreme chopper might join the site. --ShabiDOO 20:02, February 25, 2014 (UTC)
