Forum:Admin vote
Yeah yeah. New admin vote. You guys know what we need in an admin. I'm putting the six candidates who had 50% or more of the leader's score from the nominations page here and we'll pick who we think is worthy. After talking it over with wolf, we decided that 12 nominees is too many to pick one or two admins from.
I'm thinking one or two people for this go around. We'll see who stands out from the crowd (75% or more of the leader's score). I'm thinking opping one person a month would be ideal, to keep up with usual turnover, but we can decide whether I'm full of it later. Basically, if we opped two people, we wouldn't need another vote before June, at the earliest. So one or two is what I'm looking at right now, but we know what we're doing, so we'll do whatever we feel like (if we follow precedent). ;p.--<<>> 02:13, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
Oh, and I'm thinking we can end the vote on Apr. 28, but I guess that's up to bureaucrats, isn't it?--<<>> 02:16, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- How many votes do we each get? —rc (t) 06:11, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think we can all vote as much as we want, provided we all vote once on each user (no ballot-stuffing, kids). You can vote up or down and give your reasons for doing so. You can hold back your voting and only vote for one or two if you only want to op one or two, if you want, or any other type of strategy you want to use. If you guys think this is too open-ended, then we can do the only three votes thing again, but the main reason I put so many limitations is for the entire community, since it'd be harder to keep track of the votes with them. We're pretty responsible and not many in number, so I think we can vote how the feeling strikes us.--<<>> 11:53, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- Note: as we really only want to op one or two people this go-round, it's recommended you only vote for on one or two people. You have the freedom to vote for more, if you wish, but it's counter-productive as we're wanting to choose one or two out of this group. Just a quick reminder (after talking with Pants about my previous note).--<<>> 12:00, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
Vote closed. Hopefully, we'll have another one soon. (Maybe bring back VFS for the end of next month?)--<<>> 02:22, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
