Why?:Didn't Australia warn America about 9/11
On September 11th, 2001, airplanes flew into New York City's Twin Towers and destroyed them. In the months that followed, the United States debated whether this tragedy could have been avoided. However, one factor went mostly overlooked: Australia would have foreseen the attack.
So, why didn't Australia warn America about 9/11?
Is Australia actually a day ahead?[edit]
Although it happened during the morning on September 11, it was actually nighttime on September 12 in Australia. So, one can assume that yes, Australia is in the future. But when you take in account that Australia writes its dates in day/month/year format, for Americans, Australia is actually two months ahead, as 9/11 would be the 9th of November. But then again, if you really want to get specific about it, Canberra is 16 hours ahead of Washington, D.C., not a day — as that would be 24 hours.
So why didn't they warn New York[edit]
There are many reasons. Ranging from them all being drunk, to just being too tired to phone the Pentagon or whatever, or them just being absolute cunts.
Additionally, it could be because Australia was working with Osama Bin Laden to access all the shit America has on aliens, as seen in the first episode of Season 1 of The X-Files with the unnamed, but named Ciggerate Smoking Man, or the Ciggie Smoking Bloke, as he is called in the Aussie dub of the show.
In 2003, however, it was revealed that Australia did in fact try to warn the Yanks about the incoming terrorist attack, but Prime Minister John Howard was in bed and forgot to put on his glasses and instead phoned the Washington in Seattle, who could do nothing. Then again, what could the Washington in D.C. do if the plane was flying over New York? Just shoot it down? Then what, kill more New Yorkians that the debris would have landed on.
Was 9/11 an inside job?[edit]
No, because the plane came from outside.
Does this mean that Australia is just one big time machine?[edit]
Yes.
