Eddie Murphy has artistic license revoked. |
21 February 2009
Hollywood, USA — Hollywood was in shock today after it emerged that the artistic licence of Eddie Murphy has been revoked and pre-production on his latest movies have been closed down. The move came after Hollywood bosses became increasingly distressed with the actors movies in recent years. His output of late including "Norbit", "Meet Dave" and "Pluto Nash" has been viewed less favourably when compared with earlier works "Trading Places", "48 Hours" and "Beverly Hills Cop".
One former colleague who wished to be known simply as "Judge R" remarked, "That guy has been on thin ice since the eighties man, and that was like over twenty years ago! Did you ever see Pluto Nash?! Fuck me that was bad". Friends of the star have also had their say on the decision -
- "I'm surprised it took this long, I carried his ass all the way through Coming to America" - Arsenio Hall.
- "Gddddddd fkkkkkkknn rddddnnnnsss" - Nick Nolte.
- "Prick" - Mel B.
- "I err....yeah...it's...I gotta go check something" Steve Martin.
Whilst the move has been supported by many activists, there are thought to be several other stars under threat, most notably Francis Ford Coppola and Nicholas Cage, cautiously keeping out of the sights of the bosses.
