Don’t blame AAA for California PileUp |
3 March 2018
LOS ANGELES, California — Sixteen people were killed when an eleven-year-old boy caused a PileUp while driving a MoPed (motorized bicycle) in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon. The suspect was identified as Mexican Jesus de La Luna, who is charged with 16 counts of people-slaughter and 1 count of trespassing on America.
Predictably and immediately, the partisans in Washington, D.C. manned their battle stations. The Democratic side blames Republican lawmakers for an unwillingness to pass legislation banning MoPeds.
According to collectivist propoganda echo-chambers such as MSM we’re to believe that the evil organization playing puppeteer behind the scenes is the American Automobile Association, who manipulate the public through their front organization, the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Take former beauty queen and Democratic congressperson Maxine Waters, who is making a bid against hot shot Omar Navarro (R-Mex) for the US House of Representatives 43rd District in California. Almost immediately on Wednesday after Navarro took to Twitter to offer “thoughts and prayers,” Waters took a swipe at Omar for accepting contributions from the AAA and having an Uncle who probably colluded with Putin to cause the tragedy.
“I live in the state where the AAA has an office,’” Waters croaked. “I know this organization. When I run, they give me an F. They campaign against me. They have never been able to beat me. But you don’t need to be scared of them. They’re a paper tiger. But I have colleagues who are still spooked — no pun intended — and I’ll tell you why. They’re afraid the AAA will come in their state and run ads against them. And when the AAA runs ads, they don’t just claim you’re anti MoPed. They pick something else like oral-sexting-under-the-influence and attack you over that.”
Records indicate that there were a total of 613,732 motor vehicle fatalities in 2016 alone - which totally beats the hell out of ISIL’s comparatively meager body count. With horrendous fatality numbers like that the AAA does function as a target for Democrats in these situations. After any of these road tragedies, it’s easy to demagogue one organization rather than bad mouthing inanimate objects like MoPeds.
It’s sad and cynical. A tragedy occurs and those on the left who are for banning MoPeds strike with emotional pleas. For most people in California keeping their drivers license is likely to be an issue of concern. But there are some for which it is not, such as undocumented MoPed drivers like Jesus.
Whatever the public policy solution is to stop mass pileups in America, it will likely not be obstructed by fear of political action from the AAA. Instead, voters who elect new members of Congress such as Omar Navarro will make those determinations, not wackos like Maxine Waters - who has probably never even driven a MoPed.
