Date cut off?[edit]
What do you guys consider would be the starting date of "our time"? Probably nothing before 1900. --Uncyclon - Do we still link to BENSON? 11:28, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Rating cut off[edit]
Probably anything below 4 isn't that great unless it is extremly notable. --Uncyclon - Do we still link to BENSON? 11:28, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- It's "Too," not "To," geez. anyway, this article kinda lacks on a funny factor. But, I salute you for finally making an article that isn't laced with childish profanity and sex jokes. Jedibob5 00:13, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks, I think. I do need to work on it at some point. --Uncyclon - Do we still link to BENSON? 21:59, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
From Pee Review[edit]
What do you guys think? Does it need more funny? More disasters? --Uncyclon - Do we still link to BENSON? 09:46, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
- I am hesitant to comment too much because I did not read all the way through all the disasters. That in itself is a comment: the article apparently did not have enough concentrated humor to keep me reading. But I am a stupid arse so the fault may be mine. Personally, I would distill each disaster summary down to about half its current size. The book Elements of Style by Strunk and White says "omit unnecessary words." One might also put it as make every word count but that uses four words to say what Strunk and White said in three. I would revise the piece, concentrating on concision and sarcasm. ----OEJ 20:29, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
- I think it's good, but the wording is a bit awkward. I'll try fiddling with the words a bit, but I might not do much good.--Imp88 11:45, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- OEJ is on the money. This thing needs to be seriously trimmed.--Super90 08:30, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
- I found this charmingly distasteful cardgame on the internet that you might be able to put in a spin offs section. [1] My Hindenburg Catastrophe thrashes your pathetic Heysel Stadium Disaster. --Billsheppard 14:54, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
I rewrote the introduction, hope you like it. --Winstanley1 12:23, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the comments guys. I love the new intro and I'll work on pruning it. --Uncyclon - Do we still link to BENSON? 03:35, 22 December 2006 (UTC)
