Official Motto

To avoid retarded, wikipedian-like wars... I hate being serious on uncyclopedia, but, I want to avoid previous experience- wikipedian-like edit war (and we all hate wikipedia).

My edit was: For Great Chieftain We Are Ready. User 193.244.33.47 changed my edit to: "For Homeland, We Are Ready".

My (bad) joke was a free (mis)translation from real NDH phrase Za dom i Poglavnika spremni meaning For Homeland and Poglavnik We Are Ready . Poglavnik could be translated as headman, ruler, chairman... It doesn't have a specific translation. And poglavnik somewhat resembles poglavica (chieftain). And I found it funny. I know that my joke is bad, but I believe that it's better than the second one.

But to avoid silly edit war, I will ask someone neutral to judge for himself or give a new, better motto. If nobody replies in a week, I will temporarily reverse the 193.244.33.47's edit to mine or write a new official motto.

Not funny at all

And current article is not funny at all. I don't know what is the reason for that but I can see that some annoying Wikipedia contributors found their way to this site. I, as a Croat, am not offended at all but this is just boring. It is cool that there is mirror site as, obviously, Uncyclopedia died. It was only matter of time. I would not drink beer with most of Wikipedia authors, let only read some of their "jokes". Why doesn't someone lift the redirect. The original piece on Croatia was a bit more funny (and the source is available for c/p), and this article is not totally unfunny, even tho it does reek of the type of humour Wikipedia ex-Yu editors would find funny, with way too little random, crazy humour, and way too much political agenga. What Happened?

The Croatia page used to be funny, now it is just messed up and not amusing. Is the main editor Serbian or something? Because the Serbia page is still the same as it was years ago. I wonder why there isn't anymore the page about Croatia (1991-present,(don't know if that helps)), it redirects me always to the Independent State of Croatia. I've been about for 5 months ago reading on Uncyclopedia and then I wrote "Croatia" and it showed me that page, (the original). How can I see that "original" page without Uncyclopedia" redirecting me? If you know what I'm talking about.

No, no "hate" involved; what happened is that I recently saw Anon (you, presumably) editing an article by way of replacing it in its entirety with an article that wasn't nearly as funny. I undid that change.

In December, 2011, a {{Fix}} tag was applied to the article, specifying necessary improvements. It was ignored (by you, presumably). On 21-Dec-11, Administrator RAHB deleted the article and made the name redirect to Independent State Of Croatia, as it still does. On 26-Jan-12, Administrator Zombiebaron protected the redirect against Anon, noting that it has historically become "a target for vandals" (you, presumably).

There are many ways for an Uncyclopedian with a user name to ask politely for a copy back to improve it. (Improving stuff is what we do here; and Uncyclopedia allows multiple incompatible articles on the same topic.) Using the site anonymously, snapping your fingers, and accusing everyone else of "hate" is not one such method. Nor is undoing a deletion that was made through a legitimate Uncyclopedia process by Uncyclopedia Administrators. Regards. Spıke Ѧ 22:44 20-Apr-13
