Baptist churches...it's not for Jews. Believe me, they claim to love Israel and vow to support the state of Israel, yet their butt buddies George W. Bush and Jerry Falwell are closet homosexuals in line with the Islamofascists, the CIA appointed Osama and Saddam, then pays off Khomeini and the Kuwait royals, allows mosques to be rented in Texas Baptist churches near oil fields (terror targets) and finally, in radical megachurches in liberal California. Gasp! this is all a conspiracy...a Baptist, forget Zionist, conspiracy. +

That's the lid blown off the whole Baptist Church thing. What about cats? They're just not right are they? mAttlobster. (hello) 21:57, October 4, 2009 (UTC)
Oh crap, I should had taken this to the Neocon talk page. This is more of a political than religious thing, sorry about that. Besides, neocons are always protecting Jews, after all Jews are always protecting minorities, and who's protecting them? + PotatoSmut 16:53, December 28, 2009 (UTC)

Factfinder edits[edit]

These have pretty much all been reverted. Why? Because:

  • Stop trying to send readers to RationalWiki and other sites. If you want them to go there, you should go there and write.
  • The basic idea is to be booklike, like Wikipedia. Therefore, you do not break the 4th wall unless you are writing a comedy script. Stop talking directly to a reader and telling them to do this or that. Note that you also like to tell readers that something is important or funny – let them decide. And doing things like this is not funny at all.
  • Taking the reader off a point and telling a semi-related story is not how you do things, not how you should edit. Your personal agenda is overwhelming the existing story. Unless there is a good reason for it (I haven't seen it in your writing yet), stop doing this.
  • The distorted image you use has no reason to be distorted. The fancy frame business is something you have already been warned about. There is also nothing funny in the caption or the image.
  • Stop bolding text and changing typefaces. You don't know the standards on when and where to do this (hint: Wikipedia and books) so you are forbidden to make such changes.
  • Categories are for navigation, not for jokes. If you were good at adding categories (and you are not), you might be allowed a joke category every once in a while. Add only truly appropriate categories.
  • Stop blatantly advertising articles you made contributions to. "See also" exists to cross reference related articles.
  • Try very, very hard to write in real English sentences. You are still failing badly here. You need to check your writing well before hitting the save button. This one major thing by itself will get you kicked off the site unless you improve tremendously. Fair warning.

Should we reenable Special:AbuseFilter/17? I'm still not a fan of it, but I feel bad about disabling it because almost half the people supporting that were Alden Loveshade and Spike didn't get to have a say. ❦ Llwy-ar-lawr talkcontribs • 05:49 20 May 2019
Wait, I think. This should be discussed as policy since we're not under Wikia any more; I'll start a policy thread about this in the Ministry of Love. I'd rather go on a case-by-case basis, but that's just me. This is abuse here with FactFinder using so many repeated links to the same sites that it's advertising.
