Nintendorulez has been infinitely banned, but how come? All it says in the log summary is "You bitched for all of 2006. Will not happen for all of 2007.", which doesn't give me enough information, and his contributions didn't help much either. Can someone tell me? --AAA! (AAAA) 08:02, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- He basically was at the the forefront of EVERY flamewar. And started half of them. --Uncyclon - Do we still link to BENSON? 08:05, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- His most famous flamewar being Talk:Euroipods. -- 08:19, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- See a version of the rules here. Nin repeatedly broke all of these rules, and he took particular glee from violating rule #4: "Help Things Run Well" Not just on the forum, but everywhere on the site. ---Rev. Isra (talk) 12:13, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- The thing is, Nin got banned based on whining about various little things. Not just Euroipods (Nin actually DID get a monthlong ban for that). He also complained when a bunch of his favorite articles were re-written and about BENSON a lot, even after the rest of us stopped joking in caps a lot (I stopped praising BENSON in caps about the time the year changed, which was almost two weeks before BENSON's temporary infaban, and started using one-liners instead). While I don't agree that he should have gotten permabanned, it's not my decision, and Famine has good intentions I think. If it were up to me, it would have been a three month ban, no more, although I don't have the power to make these decisions.

- I'm not saying Nin's not going to be missed. Hell, I think about 90% of Uncyclopedians, even those who supported this ban, will miss him. I mean, he was a real character, and he wrote some very strange articles (none of which got featured, but were still very strange. I'm thinking of the idea of his league of Unicode Villains mainly). But he was a huge complainer, and he doesn't seem to know when to stop. Although a lot of people accuse him of being a dick. He's not. He doesn't flame (I've NEVER heard him call out a single member in an immature way). I still communicate with him and tell him about the latest drama on Uncyc. And frankly, he is much better at complaining than everyone I've heard complain about Contents. --Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 18:52, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

- Hey I got a plan that might work, how about we keep making forum topics whining about Nin getting banned until the admins give in and unban him? Oh, silly me, that seems to be your plan and you seem to be doing it already. Nin never broke any rules, never was a dick, and never started any flamewars, uh huh, just ignore all of the other forum topics, vandalizations, blankings, he did and keep saying that Nin was banned for no good reason. Using Cindy Sheehan logic if you whine and moan about something long enough and loud enough, the authorities have to give into you and allow to have your way? Oh, I am sorry, pardon me, that isn't Cindy Sheehan logic, that is 5 year old children's logic that spoiled brats use on their parents. --Lt. Sir Orion Blastar (talk) 23:29, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- That won't work. The admins will just ban all of us instead. But it gives me an idea. */me goes to Euroipods.* --AAA! (AAAA) 02:47, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Hate to bandodge with a proxy here, but I'd like to see you make dig up one edit summary with "vandalizations, blankings" as you claim. Please, refrain from making baseless accusations or launching smear campaigns. None of my edits were ever made with malice. I wouldn't stoop to the level of vandalizations or blankings. I'd explain the mistakes in your Cindy Sheehan analogy, but I'd rather not bother encouraging how you drag politics into every goddamn forum topic. Sheesh, you'd think people could show some respect for the deceased... --Nintendorulez | talk (What the hell happened to my sig?)
- The nature of Nin's problems are irrelavent. Nin knows what he did. The admins know what he did. Clearly Nin has the ability to contact the admins both on the site and on the channel, so I think it is appropriate that you all just let Nin handle this if/when he decides he is going to pursue getting his ban lifted. We really don't need to rehash these old argument over and over again when there isn't even a point to doing it. ---Rev. Isra (talk) 14:36, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

- "Nin never broke any rules, never was a dick, and never started any flamewars, uh huh, just ignore all of the other forum topics, vandalizations, blankings" and "I'd like to see you make dig up one edit summary with "vandalizations, blankings"", just breaking rules, being a dick and starting flamewars then ;-), sorry couldn't help myself <slaps wrist>--The Right Honourable Maj Sir Elvis UmP KUN FIC MDA VFH Bur.
