  • When this article is deleted, should movie be moved over to its name? Wikipedia titles their article about movies/films as "film", and we strive to parody Wikipedia, not to mention the term "film" is commonly used outside of the U.S. while "movie" seems to be a U.S.-only sort of thing.--HolUp (talk) 09:11, February 1, 2017 (UTC)

HowTo:Copy and Vandalise Articles[edit]

Score: 5 • voting closed
Delete (5)
  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Vandalism amuses the author, will not amuse the reader. This has no comedy concept except to be "in the style of the thing it's about," namely, low-quality Uncyclopedia articles. Spıke 🎙️12:17 2-Mar-17
  2. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Interesting idea, but vandalism isn't funny by itself. Expert 3222 17:31, March 3, 2017 (UTC)
  3. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Great idea for an article, but no, it doesn't work very well. I think I'll edit the article and write "balls" in it forty times... --WeatherUnderground (talk) 17:44, March 3, 2017 (UTC)
  4. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Great concept, but the title should just be vandalize. It does a good enough job making up crap about Ethiopia, but repeating the word transcendent gets old and I think it would work better as formal lessons from a disgruntled English teacher or former Wikimedia employee on how to properly vandalize articles the right way. Irritable of contents (talk) 22:17, March 4, 2017 (UTC)
  5. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Appears to have a connection with Ethiopia...but then again, may be not. Crap..carp..junk. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 16:23, March 9, 2017 (UTC)

Monty Python's Flying Circus[edit]

Score: 5 • voting closed
Delete (5)
  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Nothing more than plagiarised Monty Python jokes, no actual comedy of its own.--HolUp (talk) 06:59, February 11, 2017 (UTC)
  2. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Stolen humor. The troupe in fact has published paper books that do correctly what this article is trying to do. Don't no one re-create this article on a comedy act unless you have a novel take on it to develop. Spıke 🎙️14:44 11-Feb-17
  3. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. I have mixed feelings about this. Some of it is clever, but it's just repeating jokes all over. Let's flush this one out and start again. Python surely needs an article in here, but let's try and be original. I could probably write some more original humor about them - I'm a huge fan of them, and I can't be the only one on Uncyclopedia who likes them. One strategy could be Be serious about silly things - a formal and precise article written with a stiff upper lip, signed by a state offcial in the ministry of silly walks could be an opportunity --WeatherUnderground (talk) 21:00, February 15, 2017 (UTC)
  4. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Some of the images might be reusable but there's little here that's original and just giving a section for each skit seems boring and listy. I'll latch onto what Weather Underground said, visually making it look more like a formal government document from the ministry of silly walks by including an official seal of some sort could make for a more unique page. Irritable of contents (talk) 22:17, March 4, 2017 (UTC)

Trump's Law[edit]

Score: 5 • voting closed
Delete (5)
  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. A short article that's changed little since 2005. The equation is way too simple and broad, a better take would be a mathematical formula showing the statistical unlikelihood of bankrupting a casino. Irritable of contents (talk) 17:20, February 19, 2017 (UTC)
  2. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Written long before there was a notion that Trump would conduct an actual coherent campaign for President (whereas now there is hope he will do so in 2020), this is a vague anti-wealth rant encoded in techno-babble. "Bankrupting a casino," the notion that Trump might view Washington as a big betting parlor like the ones he has built, is a winning comedy strategy; but we will still no more need a mathematical law about Trump than we will need a variety of radish about Trump. Spıke 🎙️17:33 19-Feb-17
  3. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Short, stubby, in dire need of a rewrite. -- Simsilikesims(♀GUN) Talk here. 18:09, February 19, 2017 (UTC)
  4. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. I think it could be funny conceptually, but it's not really funny. It's not really serious enough to be amusing I think, which is what something like this would need. --Moonhead42 (talk) 02:47, March 13, 2017 (UTC)
  5. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. There is a germ of an idea here but this isn't the article for it. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 10:51, March 15, 2017 (UTC)

The Goode Family[edit]

Score: 1 • voting closed
Delete (1)
  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Pointing out the formula for a generic sitcom family is a good idea for an article but no one is going to look for this title. Also the article is listy and expects the mere mentioning of the mixing liberals and conservatives to be instant comedic gold. It's no Fascist Guy. • Dated but not horrible, a real Uncyclopedia article about the real The Goode Family. No one will look for it because it's old is different from: No one will look for it because I pulled it out of a bodily orifice. Problem is that the premise of the series was to ridicule left-wing orthodoxy, and this article has no real comedy strategy except doing the same thing, plus a bit of fan-fiction. Spıke 🎙️00:25 6-Mar-17
  • Not sure how I missed the link to wikipedia, the articles still not much of a parody though and reads more like a short synopsis. Irritable of contents (talk) 19:52, March 7, 2017 (UTC)

  • If someone decides to rewrite this article, I think it should cover the position of being a President as a whole globally, while President of the United States, if someone ever decides to write it, should cover the U.S. office specifically.--HolUp (talk) 08:06, February 4, 2017 (UTC)
  • Also, I think United States Presidents should also be unlocked and VFD'd. It's nothing more than listcruft, with some low-res images to go along with it.--HolUp (talk) 08:08, February 4, 2017 (UTC)
    • Protected in 2005 by long-departed Admin Darkdan solely because the list was complete; that's no reason; now countermanded. And, yes, it is merely a gallery with no funny writing. Spıke 🎙️17:12 8-Feb-17
  • Deleted and redirected to United States Presidents. Yes, I agree mine is not the world's only country, and anyone is welcome to turn this into a good new article on Presidents in general. Spıke 🎙️00:23 18-Mar-17

What you didn't know about Mario & Luigi[edit]

  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. Admittedly Mario and peach having a breakup and his life spiraling out of control isn't a terrible idea for an article, just the execution of ball jokes; and no one is going to search for that name. Irritable of contents (talk) 17:22, March 17, 2017 (UTC)

RapeShield[edit]

Delete (4)
  1. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. In the form of a shouty advertisement, not an encyclopedia article. Relies entirely on Rape Humor. One of two testimonials, now deleted, was in the name of a person with no Wikipedia article, not even the one to which the article pointed. Reported by Irritable of contents via QVFD ("There's no redeeming value") but it must be voted on here. Spıke 🎙️21:32 19-Feb-17
  2. Symbol delete vote.svg Delete. The humor doesn't work and it's too off-color for my taste --WeatherUnderground (talk) 11:16, February 21, 2017 (UTC)

  • After googling the term "Rape Shield", this is an actual term for laws designed to prevent the introduction of evidence designed to smear the character of rape victims in order to discredit them, such as evidence of the victim's past sexual conduct. However, this article is not very funny because anti-rape devices do actually exist. Like this one. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Simsilikesims (talk • contribs)
