HowTo:Sound like you know stuff[edit]

First article I created, wanna know if there's anything worth developing in there! Cheers and Godspeed. SonOfPhyllis 22:38, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

Humour: 9 The title is funny, because who doesn't know a boor like this? The subtle use of self-reference throughout brilliant. The recursive quality of the writing hits me like, this is a douchebag telling me how to be a douchebag... brilliant. This is not an LOL article, but rather is an exercise in cleverness and wit. On a personal note, I'm a sucker for anything that makes fun of Christians on my list of morons.
Concept: 9 I wish I'd thought of this. I do it all the time, and I can't say I think I could have done better. The title alone is hilarious. I love the made up words, liberally yet not obnixiously spread throughout. There is a category for articles with purposeful abuse of the English language. It reads like a well-sequenced HowTo, and gives me pretty clear instructions.
Prose and formatting: 8 Spelling, grammar, and use of anti-grammar are well executed. The flow if fairly seamless, with only a couple of things I'd have done differently. This article does need categorys. I would put the Fugge Pacherson remark in a in the format of a direct quote, as you do other statements. the Use their words out of context section seems a bit awkward to me. I get it, but it made me work to get it, if that makes any sense.
Images: 9 Not much to say about the pics, except that there is an adequate number, they are formatted with humorous captions, and are appropriate the the subject of the article. The Mitt Romney pic scares the bejesus out of me.
Miscellaneous: 8 The title hit me right off the bat. It's something I pretend to do as an UnNews editor every day. I was prepared to be disappointed, but was disappointed by my lack of disappointment. Maybe I'm not the best person for this review because The whole thing, plus a perusal of the writers user page, was fertile ground for my laughter.
Final Score: 43 The final score of 42 is not intentional, even if it is the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
