cute, funny in places... I think the "eradication" stuff comes on way too heavy though. More objective "observational" tone would underscore the dry humor. Also, while food/fat is certainly worthy of being in here (grin), think about branching out a little- child-bearing, PTAs, Junior League, suburban sprawl... all topics worthy of being picked on!

generally well-written, easy to follow. Latin names-- well, a little more subtlety would suit me, but might strike others another way. The more multisyllabic and pretentious the writing, though, I think the funnier the article would be-- particularly when you're speaking of trailer trash!
