Trader Joe's is a supermarket in which unhealthy/possibly genetically modified food is marketed to Californians through the use of the word "organic" on every visible part of the packaging and through the use of hand-written signs in the store to give the impression that it is a farmers' market. It occasionally creates "organic" versions of mass-produced food products with different names such as Takis to Organic Chili & Lime Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips Beginning its empire in California, it began opening stores all over America. In Washington, it is a place where Californians go to feel like they are still in California but with more trees.
